The guy is most notable for having some of the worst seasons as a Head Coach in college an the NFL as well as holding back some of the best players IE Drew Brees.

I had to laugh when I saw this thread title!

Rex Ryan really is a terrible judge of offensive co-ordinators isn't he? I was just watching an interview with Rex the other day where he said he was looking for an "imaginative" offensive co-ordinator. No harm to Cam Cameron but "imaginative" is not one of the words that spring immediately to my mind when I think about his offense. Vanilla would be closer to the mark.

Rex Ryan knows defense, that cannot be disputed, but I really don't think he has a clue how to go about getting that Jets offense on track.
