well were in the AFC championship game agian and were picking somewhere between 29-32 so a players i would want is Tavon Austin! I know he a WR/HB/PR/KR so he does a lot and he could be our slot receiver we really need and he can do so much for this Offense! help on 3rd down and can just get him the ball on sweeps and trick plays and hes from Baltimore like what else could you ask for from a player but i would like to know who would you want as your first round pick!
I want a left tackle - McKinnie's re-insertion and its dividends prove that A) a lot of Joe's problems stemmed from having no time in the pocket, and B. Oher cannot do the job. Safety could be critical, but I just don't see a worthy first round safety. Likewise with receiver - I think we get better value by waiting. If an impact pass rusher or corner falls, I'd take him. If for some strange reason Manti Te'O was available, I'd take him. But I really think getting a long-term left tackle will be huge for our offensive success going forward.

1. DE
2. NT
3. FS
4. ILB
5. OLB
This order is based on our needs vs other teams needs vs depth of the draft. I feel like the draft is deep with quality FS prospects as well as RUSH OLBs. I also feel like ILB is an undervalued position so that is advantageous for us to get a prospect like an Arthur Brown in the 2nd rather than the 1st. DEs rarely fall. This is a very poor draft for NT in my opinion. That's why I have it ranked 2nd.
Welcome to the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, Matt Elam, #32nd overall, 1st round pick!
Welcome to the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, Arthur Brown #56th overall, 2nd round pick!
Welcome to the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, Brandon Williams, #94th overall, 3rd round pick!

Trade up for the best LT in the draft, look at joes performance when he was protection. That is all were missing
You do realize we would have to trade all the way up to #1 to do that right? That would involve giving up 2-3 1st rounders plus a 2nd and a 3rd AT LEAST....
While Joekel may be the LT prospect coming out in years (according Kiper and Mcshay), I can't imagine giving up that much to go get Joekel and we know Ozzie wouldn't do that.

I think he would be a bad choice. We cant reach because there is a need and Aboushi is far from a lock to even be a serviceable LT in the NFL. Its unfortunate that 2 very good prospects are going back to school but there is more value to draft other positions.Aboushi may be the best chance we have at left tackle, based on where we will be picking, and the number of guys returning to school.

Oh I agree, he isn't the best choice for our pick. Not by a long shot.
If we could move up to get Fisher, that would be my choice.

You don't think left tackle is a need, or do you just not think we have a shot at a good one?

Draft a Franchise Team:
1 (16): Colin Kaepernick, QB 2 (49): DeMarcus Ware, OLB/DE 3(80): Marcell Dareus, NT/DE

There are two problems with your strategy. We have a lot of maneuverability with 11 picks and I think that will allow us to find the best players at the right value. I explain my strategy here. If we have to stay in the first round for the sake of the topic though, I like Kenny Vaccaro. His ability to cover slot WRs and TEs is a huge asset in today's NFL and is also a very big security blanket if Webb isn't healthy right away.
1. We are picking at minimum of 29. Not sure how many people would be willing to trade back into the first at that point instead of waiting for their next pick in the early second.
If you go through the top 10, Buffalo and the Jets are the only two teams that might be willing to trade up into the first that wont take a guy we want.
2. If we allow a team to trade back in it would not surprise me if they take the guy we wanted to take. For example. we trade back hoping to take Oday and then he gets taken. It wouldnt be the most shocking thing as we saw Tampa Bay move up for Martin when they failed to for T Rich, and the Bengals traded down and took Zeitler ahead of projections. However, thats an inherent risk in trading back.

theres an abundance of the teams in the top 15 could trade up for a QB. None other than geno are worth a top 15 pick, and unless they reach they will all be fighting each other to get that second guy. There are two problems with your strategy.

Jets, buffalo, cards, maybe even kc of they don't take geno, hell even Dallas might want someone behind romo.
Lots of late first 2nd round qbs ATM, but more teams, so that means trade back potential.

Dallas isnt trading up for a QB. As much as Jones hates and threatens Romo, he isn't dumb enough to waste a pick like that. He knows his team needs too much help in other areas and given that Romo was a 7th round pick himself, Im sure Jerry Jones will be confident he can find competition for Romo later in the draft or at least without trading up.theres an abundance of the teams in the top 15 could trade up for a QB. None other than geno are worth a top 15 pick, and unless they reach they will all be fighting each other to get that second guy.

KC - the way I see has no choice but to take Geno at #1. The reason being is that the Jets and Bills are right behind them. KC wont take someone and then trade back into the top 10 to get Geno.
Buffalo and NYJ I already addressed, but given the Jets situation, I dont think they can afford to trade back into the first to grab a guy like Nassib or Wilson.
The cards are viable so maybe two teams would be willing to trade back in, but I doubt they will be willing to pay the price. For minnesota to trade up to 29 where we were last year I think, it cost them their second and 4th to move up 4 spots. This is moving up 10 spots so yea.
