UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

Credit Harbaugh and Ozzie for signing these guys. Sure, some of their decisions don't work out but Graham and Jones have become big-time members of our team.

Love having these two.

Seeing Graham play the way he did this past saturday makes me feel a little more at ease going into the AFC Championship game especially now that we don't have Webb. Webb usually gives Brady trouble so hopefully we can keep up this momentum and make our much deserved way to New Orleans!

okay gronk is out. Ellerbe can match with the rbs when they come out the backfield and with hernandez we are sit there. Graham needs to stick on wes welker like glue. Reed needs to talk to Cary really stop playing too deep. them screen passes on saturday night cary was like 10 yards away from the line.

Once webb comes back, we need webb and graham starting. I don't know if its the secondary coach or cary william's technique but he gives too much cushion and gets beat way to many times. And I'm tired of the ravens getting no respect. We just knocked off the #1 seed in the AFC and its not how the ravens won, its how the broncos lost. Lets prove that we are a force to be feared and beat the patriots and win the Superbowl!

You know Brady will pick on Cary this Sunday, lets get ready for it.

I agree with this but you have to admit, besides little 5-10 yrd passes. Cary didnt surrender any big plays. If you look at the way our defense set up , both of our corners were playing 8yrds off the line of scrimage. Other than that Cary played well enough to hold manning down on that side of the field. After the first half, we went to the man press and it basically saved us.

Yes you're right he did a good enough job... I just think Brady will try to exploit it more

I encourage everyone to watch the Ravens vs. Patriots game back in September. Their defense is not that hard to get past and Tom cannot handle pressure, with Mckinnie on our O-line we are great !

I didn't knew where else to post this question, but here it goes:

Could Ed Reed maybe stop his career with Ray Lewis if Ravens win the Super Bowl?

It will be interesting to see how we plan on matching up with them when/if we decide to play man to man.

My guess would be Graham attempts to cover Welker, and Cary stays outside with Lloyd. I assume we will have a LB (hopefully Ellerbe) on Hernandez for the entire game.

I just really don't want to see Cary covering Welker. That's a huge mismatch.

What do you guys think about Ed Reeds play lately...
[/quote]

Honestly, I think Ed has hurt our team more than help it this year. Yeah I'm sure it is great for him to share his knowledge of the game with the young guys, but he just doesn't play the way he use to anymore. He misses a lot of tackles, he doesn't really make plays, but i will give him credit that having his presence in the secondary shuts off some of the field.

I wouldn't be to upset if Ed doesn't return next season, but i would rather it be because we win a super bowl and he retires. He just isn't the same player.

Ed Reed made such a difference just being on the field. Peyton did not throw one pass in Ed's direction, you would be surprised how much of a difference that actually makes. I would expect Brady to do the same, don't expect Ed to stand out much even though he is playing a huge role in the game. Ed Reed gets his INT's against less experienced QB's.

Signing Corey Graham could mean bad things for Jimmy Smith. He either proves his worth, or we cut him. Cary Williams is better than Smith right now. I just wish we had Webb, then either Welker or Lloyd would be shutout...

Now to see what Omar Brown can do next season(potential replacement for Reed in the future). Corey should have that #2 spot next to Webb when he comes back next year. I think Cary is a good slot or dime corner but he got beat a good bunch this season and I honestly believe that Jimmy Smith could also pan out as a better safety than corner.

Hey @showtime,
Peyton didn't throw Ed's way because he was always 30yds off the ball (for what good that's been worth).
Ed barely made it into any of the on the field shots, a no show in my opinion.
He won;t be here next year.
