Coming from a player who can hardly make an impact on special teams--missing tackles and allowing 2 returns for scores in the biggest game of the year. It wasnt entirely BA but seriously he has nerve seeing that he doesnt even start. Unbelievable, there should be a rule that no players should have twitters, but then you see Ray Rices, Ray Lewis', and Torrey Smiths updates that are always uplifting and inspirational and you like it. Im starting to think less and less of Brendan Ayanbedejo.

Am I the only one that doesn't have a problem with this? If you are confident, and know that you will give it your all, then talk all you want.

It could even be an advantage for us. If the other team is mad/angry, then they lose focus from the game, and could make a crucial mistake, like a dropped pass, missed FG, pass interference, etc.

Keep on talking BA, but also do show up to play this time.

Heres my thing, if the team backs him, I'm happy he spoke up. Otherwise, if this is some individual thing, CHILL. Now the team will be harassed, even though all week they were going to be questioned about Brady anyway. Something I've noticed this week is the team is getting some of that old swagger back from the Rex and Billick days. Seems Harbaugh might finally be loosening the reigns a little as the team has matured and younger guys have stepped into more of a leadership role.

I second that. I wish we were still in a time where guys realized they made a living competing head-to-head against other guys, and a little trash talk and "bulletin board material" just makes it that much more intense. I guess it's more the media's fault for shining a spotlight on every little thing than the players', but still. Anyone hear about the Kevin Garnett-Carmelo Anthony "incident" last week? As much hate as Skip Bayless gets on this board, he hit it dead on. It's only an issue because everybody has to be politically correct and be friends with everyone else. To hell with that. If it's going to give New England extra motivation (which I don't buy, because that team has no doubters and needs nothing extra to motivate them for a championship game), that's the only argument I'm buying for how this is a bad thing. Otherwise, let these men say whatever they want to each other.
On a different note, I think it would be something special if we do win this year and BA gets a ring, to go along with his brother's ring from Baltimore's 2000 victory.
