We'll miss this chess match...but we have our own Manning in the form of JOE FLACCO. The critics love to push us Cam Newton/RGIII/LUCK/Brady/A-Rod ect. ect ect.

NONE of them ever Respect Joe except when they have NO OTHER choice. When he has such an amazing performance....so dominate that you have to realize that he is not only a good QB; he's a Great one. HE's OUR QB .

I have learned one thing this season out of the past 18....I am finally ready to have a team without Ray Lewis and ABSOLUTLY 100% feel comfortable in the direction we are going. Our young players grew up this year. We have not just a team but a family.

We are One. Best QB/WR/RB tandem in the NFL,Best ALL-Around Roster, Best Coaching Staff , Best Front Office, Best Training Facility and Best Owner any fan would be proud of...

WHO HAS IT BETTER THAN US?

NOBODY!!!

I am beyond happy for Ray. He was so emotional that he gets to play another week. This season has been so special. We are playing like Ravens right now on Offense and Defense. All heart!

It doesn't get any better than this photo. It's pure NFL Hall of Fame material.
You earn respect , by learning to respect. There is an amazing amount of respect between these 2 greats !
I have moved to Southeast Florida, but I will always be a RAVENS fan, enthusiast and believer !

Couldn't be happier for Ray Lewis and our Ravens. I slept like a baby last night thanks to this win. Side not: That picture of Ray and Peyton is awesome.

Two great football players saying good bye to each other but it would be great if Ray went to the show, I HOPE AND PRAY HE DO GO.

The same "know it alls" (know nothing at all) who said Ray was washed up and would not be a factor after he came back from his tricep tear, are the same ones that said there was no way the Ravens defense could overcome the short week, the high emotional game, so many snaps, the high altutude and of course the #1 Broncos with Manning.
Obviously the Ravens dont give a rats rear about those "experts"
I never sat the whole game. I was too busy paceing, jumping, dancing, begging on my knees, and at the end, going outa my mind. What a game!

That photo of Manning and Ray is so touching. Two legends with careers on the line. I don't see Manning ever reaching another Super Bowl, but at least Ray will get another! GOAT

Man, I thought I was over the emotional roller coaster of yesterday`s game till the next time we play again for the AFC Championship game. This photo got the best of me just 10 mins ago. Peyton Manning and his wife Ashley with their two years old son Mosley waited an hour and half for Ray Lewis to finish the interviews to have a private moment after the last time they play each other. Peyton`s wife Ashley said " I`m so happy for you " to Ray Lewis. That Peyton waited with his family to share congratulations and good luck one last time shows how much class he has. This is just so touching. Hats off to Peyton Manning as a man and a player. I now have that much more admiration for him.

This really does feel like a team of destiny this season. Everything we've gone through...

the loss in New England last post-season...
losing Ed's brother...
losing Art...
losing Torrey's brother...
all our injuries...
our losing ways at the end of the season...
beating the Colts for the first time in forever...
beating Manning for the first time in forever...

It just a different energy than the past four years. This year feels different.

Don't stop hunting until we bring home the Lombardi!

And someone else already said it in another thread but... the DPOY Award should be renamed the "Ray Lewis Award".

Ray Lewis met the real “GOAT”, i.e. Muhammad Ali, back in Sep when he visited the practice facility. As good as Lewis and Manning are, they don’t not have the international acclaim and notoriety as Ali. They are great ambassadors of football and undoubtedly 1[sup]st[/sup] ballot Hall of Famers but IMHO there is only 1 GOAT, Muhammad Ali!

I’m certainly glad Ray and the Ravens have been able to extract some retribution over Manning and the Colts this year before he retires. Hopefully Ray and the Ravens will continue in that vein next week with a beat down in the AFC Championship against Brady and NE (or Houston doesn’t matter). Then it will be off to New Orleans and the Super Bowl to face (probably) Jim Harbaugh and SF. Talk about a story book ending to a remarkable career!!

I beg to differ..........In Baltimore the G.O.A.T. is Johnny U. and I am sure he would not mind sharing that honor with Ray Lewis.
