Its sad that ppl are still saying we got lucky, that we won off of penalties. Like we didn't get screwed with that "hands too face mask call with Suggs" and still dogging Flacco. People just can't except it, they're looking at the next SB Champions.

I remember after 4 games last year, everyone on this site was calling Torrey a bust because he was having trouble dropping passes. No one gave him the chance to develop.

Imagine if Joe didnt slightly over throw that other pass to Torrey in the second quarter... just a hairrrrrr to far. Joe would have thrown for about 400 yards and 4 tds and Torrey would have had 180 yards and 3 tds.

Torrey is the number 1 deep threat we have been looking for

Question:

Can we protect Jim Calwell so he doesn't get a head coaching job with any other team for at least the next 5 years?

Is he still under contract?

Empire... dont forget the PI call on Corey , I was so fustrated last night with the announcers trying to justify the blatant ignorant calls to the audience, like the viewers are all idiots. There was poor calls on both teams; that's just football. We get it as fans, just don't try to dismiss us fans as idiots.

Another note not football but an observation. Primetime TV with respect to families with children shouldn't be having Viagra commercials and other sexual related ads during their coverage. I found it very tasteless.

@GoldRaven.....not sure what contract he has, but it usually doesn't matter. Usually, most teams don't hold coaches back from getting a head coaching job, if one is offered. He can be under contract for 4 years and the team would most likely let him move on. Can they stop him? Of course, but they won't, most likely. It's really up to Caldwell if he takes a head coaching job. I predict, w/all the vacancies, he will be offered one, but I hope he turns it down.

@NCMAN

That's really scary. but I hope all the HC positons are filed before the superbowl. Jim Caldwell can and will make this offense elite if he stays.

I hope he stays, for sure. I've got a suspicion that the Bears are going to pursue him. Just a hunch. I have nothing to base that on, other than me thinking it.

@GoldRaven.....I hope Jim Caldwell sticks around for a while. After all those years of bad offensive coordinators, Jim can find serious love in Baltimore!

Hopefully, Bruce Arians will fill that position. He has an interview in Chicago this week, then he will interview in Philly. The further we go, then teams will have to wait to interview Jim, but the more success we have maybe teams will be interested and willing to wait.

I have a feeling that this is the year that this is the team that will lead the Ravens to glory you just get that feeling watching Flacco play so great i bet if the Ravens had the Oline they have now during the season they could have won 2 maybe 3 more games and Flacco's stats would have been even better.

I am not going to read other sites or listen to any more of the talking heads. No one is giving us respect for winning the game. They are instead talking about how the Broncos lost the game. They blame Champ Bailey and the defensive coordinator. Thay say that the Ravens were just lucky ect. Troy beat Champ. The Ravens won the game because they are the better team. That is the facts. I hope we get to play the Texans again next Sunday. When we beat them we will have exercised all our gost from this season and will go on to win the SuperBowl.

With Flaccos arm and the speed of Torrey and Jacoby, sometimes even Boldin[!] every secondary will have its problems defending the deep ball

This happens every year about this time. Teams that have Head Coaching vacancies start cherry picking coaches off the playoff teams to fill their vacancies. I just hope Caldwell decides to stay, because I think he will be pursued heavily, w/his experience. No disrespect meant, but I think, for now, that DC Pees is safe. Next year.....who knows?

Joe Flacco outplayed one of the greatest QBs in the NFL- yesterday AND in last year's AFC Championship game and still gets no credit when he turns in a SUPERB performance like he did last night. I only hope that serves to strengthen his resolve to prove himself. Go Ravens! Way to prove EVERYBODY outside Baltimore wrong last night.

Flacco, Smith and Jones reallt took it to CHUMP Bailly last night, It was a thing of beauty. Thank you O-line for stepping up again this week to give us a chance to make the great plays that Joe and the Gang are capable of. What a GREAT recieving corp we have. I'm in awe and almost speechless about the way the team hung in there and pulled off one of the greatest wins I've ever seen in my 52 years. Go RAVENS, All The WAY!!

We finally have the correct O-line in. Joe had lots of time in the pocket and he came through for us.

Caldwell called a great game, exercising patience in the game plan. Our offense was balanced.
