QB has the option to hand off or run on run plays, the PA plays almost entirely have a single read skinny post over the LBs.

You want to implement the pistol and it will entirely negate the quick, timing passes that Caldwell is trying to implement.

Stopping the pistol is easy, when the LBs maintain their gap control and wait for the QB RB exchange happen. Most of the big yards happen after the misdirection.
