Yep...
Jim has little offense though
What? Jim has Kaepernick now.

Welkah or Brady would be high on the list.
Well even if eh did - LEGALLY (not even borderline) - the refs will just call game over in favour of the Pats.... :(

Well, losing Gronkowski really hurts. It's managable for Baltimore's personel but he would have really helped if we win and face the 49'ers in the Superbowl. We needed his pass protection abilities in that game badly...

Anyway, I think one major difference in this game is going to be pressure. I see the Patriots putting a lot of pressure on Flacco. NE's front seven is beastly this season.

Another thing worth mentioning is we have a top 10 back, lead the league in rushing touchdowns, and have like the 8th best rushing attack in the league.

This is a rushing attack the Patriots did not unveil until the week AFTER we played the Ravens this season.

Both of those points I see being what looks the most different about our regular season match up (under the watchful eye of retarded replacement officials).

I believed you would beat Denver and expected Flacco to score in the final seconds of the 4th quarter.
I was surprised by none of it.

That said, I am very confident going into this AFC Championship rematch - much more confident than I was last year.

Suggs is probably drooling at the opportunity right now.

I mean aside from the usual.

Let him drool

all over Brady...

If there's ONE team in the AFC that isn't afraid to go into Foxboro in an AFCC its us.
Agreed. For the Ravens to beat the Broncos yesterday, they had to get over two humps: the physical and the mental (of Peyton absoluetly owning this team). For the Ravens to beat the Pats next Sunday, the Ravens just need to execute-- they know how to beat the Pats, and they know they can beat the Pats. They just have to go and do it.

Our best bet is to try and shift KO onto Wilfork and allow Birk to get to the next level in run blocking. Its been working well for us. Need to trust running behind Oher/Yanda and McKinnie/KO.
Right on he money! Birk was getting blown up bad by Wilfork .Joe couldn't step into any throws.but
we starting rolling him out which helped a great deal.

Denvaaaah was much more confident this year too. Doesn't mean much at this point. Id say the RAYvens are a better team this year.

Some thoughts and questions on the matchup:

-Flacco has the Pats #
-Can Cary do better on Lloyd than he did in Week 3?
-Who is going to guard Welker without Lardarius?
-Our pass rush should be way better than week 3 with Suggs back and the emergence of Kruger
-No Gronk should make it easier on our lb's and safeties, even though they still have to defend Hernandez
-Can we continue our success running on NE?
-Will Pierce be back to give a nice change of pace?
-Can Boldin keep his hot streak going against Talib?
-How will we defend Ridley?

I honestly think Denver is better than NE, so I'm feeling pretty confident that we will get it done.

Go Ravens

Congrats on the win! It'll be interesting to see what role kicking plays in this game! One thing's for sure, Tucker's better than Gostkowski! :ravensquote:

Well, I'm surprised you would come onto a Ravens forum and start your post with an injury alibi.

And I have to disagree with your idea of pressuring Joe. In fact, I think the opposite will be true. Our renewed O line will protect Joe or he will be moving the pocket. And I also think our D continues its upswing and never lets tommie get comfortable.

Should be a good battle. Here's to an injury free game and may the team that plays hardest and best win.

Looking back on that, it makes me sad.

The HUGE hit by Frank *gasp* Walker would have been called a flag (ironic in a Frank Walker comment) this year with the current state of the NFL.

It's time for media and weathered fans start shifting their love for Brady and their definite prediction for Brady win.

Pats fans stay to where you are from cuz if you start talking smack, better come back when you got whooped....

Another thing to think about is the loss of Edelman. He had a great game in week 3 if I remember correctly. Maybe we can focus even more attention on Welker, Lloyd, and Hernandez now that two of their top WR's that they played with in week 3 are out.

-Flacco has the Pats #
-Can Cary do better on Lloyd than he did in Week 3? That's a negative. Plus we are without Webb. Get enough pressure on Brady and keep him to the short game.
-Who is going to guard Welker without Lardarius? My guess would be Brown.
-Can we continue our success running on NE? We can. Especially if we can also stretch the field with Torrey. Get Birk off Wilfork and concentrate on running behind Oher/Yanda.
-Will Pierce be back to give a nice change of pace? Hopefully. I feel this is a type of game that plays to Pierce's cut strengths.
-Can Boldin keep his hot streak going against Talib? Sure can. I'm telling Boldin to try and get under Talib's skin. Talib can be be pushed around when frustrated.

I simply posted that video so I didn't have to go back to last years game. That's all. I'd rather watch that blowout win than the highlights of last years AFCCG that will be played over... and over... and over... and over... and over... all week long.

Yep. All I hear is. "We have the #2nd best D in the league.", "The top rated QB in the league.", "The matchups play in our favor" all over again.

We might as well shut this thread down and just go re-read the Denver thread.
