AFC Championship Game: Baltimore @ New England

1,095 posts in this topic

Roles are reversed. Patriots had to beat the Broncos to get the AFC championship game last year and we had to beat the Texans. Let's hope the outcome of the championship game will be reversed as well with us winning.

Well, lucky for the Ravens, Rob Gronkowski is (believed to be) DONE for the rest of the postseason.

That's okay; Gronk will have plenty time to party at a nightclub, from here-on-out...

The Patriots have been doing just as well without him.

Agreed but its way easier to match up against them without him

We have no one that could even come close to sticking gronk

It is pretty clear we are playing the NE Patriots. However, I feel good that the Texans were able to make a comeback after the Pats went up 38-13....

I believe we have a decent shot at beating the Pats next week. Not certain, but a very good chance if Flacco plays like he played the last couple of weeks and the defense is healthy!

I hope Pierce is healthy and ready to go. Having him pound the line along with RR would go a long way in shortening the game.

Joe Flacco this postseason:
30/57, 52.6 %, 613 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT, 120.0 QB Rating.

Just putting that out there.

The only that scares me after watching the Pats game is their backfield.

I don't think they will have a lot of success running the ball (just enough to keep us honest throughout the game) but how they utilize Vereen and Woodhead in the passing game scares the living crap out of me. We don't have a nickel linebacker to be able to cover either of them so I'm gonna be looking to see how what Pees comes up with to limit their production.
