Congratulations to the Ravens and their fans. They brought it in every phase of the game, and were clearly more prepared than the Pats. Flacco was great today. Good luck in the Superbowl. It should be interesting.

Hopefully we can play a "best of three" next year.

You were right about the Pats scoring over 30 points. 31 points......er......sorry flip that! 13 points. Close enough.

NOT you. You were / are cool and thanks for your kind first post by the way.

Read back a few pages.
SOME Pats fans were REALLY REALLY cocky.
Not that I am saying you should not be proud of your team, but,,, coming on THESE boards and talking some of the stuff that SOME of the pats fans did.

We just want to see them back here so we can say,,,

" Oh, Oh, Uh, Ooooh, Oh, Ooooooh , he is the greatest ever what ? I cant hear you !! Oh, Oh, Uh, Ooooh, Oh, Ooooooh"

I went over to see what the Pats fans are moaning about. But patsfans.com has shut down their main forum to the public. They don't want to show others their disgrace.

I hadn't seen your post. And if you came to the site humble pay no attention. You seemed reasonable so sorry for getting you caught in the cross fire, but some fans came by getting real disrespectful like we don't usually play you all close.

Since I like you, stop reading here. This is for the cocky Pats fans.

Since Harbaugh took over every game has been decided by one score, EXCEPT FOR THE RAVENS 2 PLAYOFF VICTORIES. Chumps..

They've reopened it up.

They do have a 'Congrats Baltimore' thread going. Lots of respect about how we outplayed them. Ofcourse there are 'those' others.

I cant believe Wilfork was a non factor.

Great job o-line.
From the times I did pay attention. It seemed that KO shifted to Wilfork a lot. They put a big boy on Wilfork.

Skip said before the game, if Joe did it again against Brady, give me a razor blade....

Someone gives him the razor blade, please....

IDK what's he going to do with it, but I guess he wants to shave his head and goes to the temple...

All week long I felt we had a great shot at winning this game. But still I am sitting here slightly stunned that we've actually beaten the Patriots in their own back yard and are headed to the Superbowl. Somebody pinch me!! I am scared I am going to wake up and find it's all been a dream.

What a fantastic effort by every single person on that sideline tonight.

John Harbaugh - A fantastic coach who understands his players and always gives them a chance to win.
Jim Caldwell - His opening up of the offense changed the direction of the game and swung things in our favour.
Dean Pees - This man has done a fantastic job. Our red zone defense is as good as any in the NFL.
Joe Flacco - Showed tonight that he IS a clutch QB. He is going to be rewarded handsomely after the Superbowl.
The O-Line - Fantastic pass protection yet again.
Anquan Boldin - What a great, tough receiver he is.
The D - Now that they are healthy they are baring their teeth and showing how tough, and how smart, they truly are.
The fans - Great to see so many Ravens fans inside the stadium tonight. Hearing the O chant at the end was good.

I have a big, stupid grin on my face right now and it won't go away. I am happy for all the coaches and players and for all my fellow Ravens fans too. But the man I am most happy for is Ray Lewis. Thank you Ravens, you have made me very happy tonight.

I think this game is simpler than last season's game or any other game I can recall between the Patriots and the Ravens.

Your defense is noticably older, they just went through a double overtime game against Denver on the road, now you need to come to Gillette...

And this year's Patriots no huddle offense is the fastest in NFL history. It will break you early into the second half. It's just too fast, too exhausting, too much for the old Ravens

This game will not be as close as the classic Patriot/Raven games of the past.
Hmm I guess you were right about something.

I think the name "Ray Lewis" just brings out all of the village idiots on any message board that is not Raven related.

I'm too young to have watched Super Bowl XXXV (I was watching sports, but not the NFL), but I do know a bit about this 2000 defence. When Dannell Ellerbe first picked off Tom Brady, I actually thought about this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRlIEMhv-ZE

How cool would that be if this game was a symbolic passing of the Ravens defensive torch from Ray Lewis to Ellerbe?

TV and internet were down last night, so I wasn't able to watch the game. It was absolute torture not knowing the result until this morning but I'm so happy right now.

I've been watching the highlights and NFL.com actually posted an individual video of Brady kicking Ed as he went into his slide on NE's last posession before the half. Considering the countless times he's complained to refs for after legal hits, that's just pathetic.

One thing I loved about our team in this game is that we drove the ball well and put up points, and we stopped their offense, despite losing the field position battle all game. I think we had like 6 drives start at or inside our own 10 yard line. They started with great field position most of the game. But we made it work. That takes resiliency and patience. It was a beautiful thing.

I'm so sorry, glad that's over now! And I agree. If Reed would've fell on him because of that the refs would of probably threw a flag for their golden boy.

Despite forcing 3 turnovers, holding the Pats to 13 points, and under 4 yards per carry Pro Football Focus gave the defense a collective -11.1 rating?

Brady got a +3.6 and the Pats Offense got a +20.2.............

I guess this is what happens when a football grading website is ran by people who have no experience with football at all.

That's pathetic. Do they give any explanation at all about that?

What did they give our offense and Flacco?

Flacco got a +3.1

I think the website has a great idea but without actual football guys that know each teams scheme and/or responsibility on each play it is poorly executed at times.

If you hold Tom Brady to 13 points in HIS house there is no way that defense performed at a negative -11.1 rating.
