So, I was talking to the delusional Raider fan friend at my school again right! We were talking about the playoffs and how Matt "Playoff McNowins' Ryan was going to lose again. I then said Matt Ryan is the most overrated QB. Now most of you people would agree with me on this statement right? He has three elite WR, and an above average RB and D along with a damn good OC. STILL no playoff win.

He (knowing that I am a Ravens fan, said this before he even found out) the proceded to lhao and then said "No offense, but your QB is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo overrated. All of the rookies, are better, it is a fact, better statistics". His QB list is this

1. Tom Brady
2. Brees
3. Eli Manning
4. Aaron Rodgers
5. Big Ben Rothtard
6. Andrew Luck
7. Peyton Manning (who should be number 2 behind Rodgers)
8. Josh Freeman
9. Cam Newton
10. Rg3
11. Wilson
12. Shaub
13. Ryan
14. Kapernick
15. Palmer
16. Rivers
17. Dalton
18. Bradford
19. Alex Smith
20. Troy Smith (WTH?)

Him............ They said the fact that most people consider Flacco to be a top ten QB is laughable, and that all of the above had better statistics than Joe. That he is too inconsitent. I make my argument
"Well, Flacco not only thrased the hell out of your team, but he finished with more wins than most of that list. Not to mention he is the only QB in NFL history to win a playoff game each of his 5 years. Your team had NOOOOOOOOOOO answer for him, and neither did the colts, or the redskins when he attacked. So that puts that out of the options. Oh and you are a Raiders fan. WHY are you talking?"

My point of view...
The media freakin hates Flacco. And he is really arguing with Jaworski? Really? If anything he is UNDERRATED!

My current QB list is this
1. Rodgers
2. P. Manning
3. Brees
4. Brady
5. Eli
6. Rothtard
7. Flacco
8. Luck
9. Ryan
10. RG3

Now, if I rewrite this list, we will see who is in the Playoffs

1. Rodgers
2. P. Manning
3. Brees
4. Brady
5. Eli
6. Rothtard
7. Flacco
8. Luck
9. Ryan
10. Rg3

That is about half of the list.


Now in hindsight, he would let Joe go, say get a better QB...... He says Oz is an idiot and will not extend him, and that Harbs does not trust him. He gave me a mock for us.... Which I will post later for some more lolz...........



But what do you all think (congrats if you got down here btw)? I think he is a top 10 QB, with the potential to win a SB or two. Please post responses in the poll above. Sure he had a few bad games, and lost his OC in the process (blessing in disguise).

I think Flacco is very overrated and I do not see him as a top 10 QB. That doesn't mean he sucks, just doesn't mean he is phenomenal either. I'd rank him someone in the 12-14 range and I would put 2 rookies ahead of him in Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III...even though Bob Griffin might be out next year! Yikes! feel bad for him.

Joe may be overrated by some, but he is underrated by most.

Is he top 10? I don't know. It's hard to gauge. I think he's close to it, if he isn't. If he continues this post season like he's played the past few games, then yes. Top 10. Too much inconsistency for me to give a clear decision. If I had to make a top 10 list, it would probably look like

2. Peyton Manning
3. Tom Brady
4. Drew Brees
5. Eli Manning
6. Ben Roethelisberger
7. Matt Ryan
8. Phillip Rivers
9. Matt Schaub
10. Joe Flacco

Really, after the first four, the remaining six could go in any order. You could make an argument for some to be higher. You could make an argument for some to not even be on the list. That's leaving out guys like Cam, Bob, Luck, and Stafford. Some guys could be on, and some other guys could.

I can't see how anyone would say Flacco is overrated, all I ever see is people bagging on him, and when he does good, I BARELY see any "Good job Flacco!"
