Raven Fans...

8 posts in this topic

I've noticed alot of people on here have been getting dissed and arguing.
I dont get it?.... WE'RE suppose to be like a team/family or something. But by saying rude and cruel things to one and another isnt exactly what i call a "team" i know your probably at your keyboard saying "This idiot doesnt know what he's talking about". Which is exactly what's wrong. I dont know if MOD's are gonna close this topic down or not but i just wanna say we shouldnt be dissing eachother.

I know everyone has their opinion but i mean do ya have to be that rude? atleast disagree in a respectful manor.
To be honest i dont agree with everything someone say's on here, but i also show respect in their opinion.
I love the ravens' and raven fans...... but
Cant we all just get along???

Yeah ive noticed the same thing...people have their own opinions, but sometimes our fans can get carried away and think b4 they speak. oh well, i think it will die down eventually...

This is what I sort of alluded to in the game thread...I'm worried that, if things don't go as we expect tomorrow, people will freak out like they did after the Titans game and especially after the Colts game and say things they don't mean to say.

It's kind of like drunk texting/dialing -- in this case, instead of the phone, you should just step away from the keyboard if you're pissed, and come back when you've calmed down. People get too emotional and say things in the heat of the moment that they really shouldn't say. It leads to arguments, and people make an *** of themselves...

And the worst part is when people question other people's fanhood just because they don't agree with their opinion. It's ridiculous; we're all fans here, and we come to post here out of love for our team. Though some people's ideas may not make much sense to others, a valid thought is a valid thought, no matter how stupid.

The #1 thing about tomorrow's game that I fear is what might happen if turnovers start to mount -- will people be calling for Flacco's head AGAIN? After all he's done thus far?

I know Flacco's done a lot to change people's minds, but Troy Smith/OSU fans will always be Troy Smith/OSU fans at the end of the day, no matter how much they claim to love the team -- after all, the majority of them followed Smith to this team to begin with.

For the forums best interest. The Ravens should win, then lose, then win, and then lose again.

Never put to many wins together in a row. Then we get these ludacrious ideas that we, by far, the best thing since sliced bread. That Flacco is actually Tom Brady - wearing a mask! And we are on a brink of a dynasty.

But also never put to many losses together in a row. Because then it's a blood bath. Smith lovers/Flacco bashers arise from the dead, talking about the end is near. That we need to pull the trigger for Boldin, like right now! (even though it's impossible).

I'm prepared for anything that happens tommorrow too. I like to think of myself as realistic. The Giants should be favored in this game for good reason. But we do have a shot to win "Any given Sunday", right? If they lose, this season is by far over, and they have far suceeded my expectations. If they win! Then by golly, we are a damn good team!

For the record, "dissing" each other is a violation of our Code of Conduct. We do what we can to seek and destroy that kind of post, but some occasionally slip through. We appreciate it when our posters use the "Report" feature to let us know when someone has crossed the line.

Also, we would appreciate it if our fans could avoid melting. It puts us on par with Browns fans and makes us look silly to the rest of the league. Sometimes a team loses a game; it happens. Losses CAN be discussed rationally.
