Jarvis Jones

Now onto Jarvis Jones....
How far does Jarvis Jones fall?
I am not saying that there is any way he falls all the way down to 32 for us to take him, but I could see him falling, maybe even outside the top 10-15. He does have a flaw with being able to set the edge and stop the run.
However, his biggest issue, which has somewhat been downplayed is his injury history. In 2009, while playing for USC, he took a hit and was later diagnosed with spinal stenosis. USC doctors recommended he not play anymore and refused to clear him for contact. This led to his transfer to Georgia and now here we are.
There are a couple recent unquestionable 1st round talents that fell into the 2nd round due to similar injuries. It has been speculated Gronk has this same injury. He was ranked the top TE in 2010, supposed to go in the 1st round, fell all the way to #42. Also, Marcus McNeil, the top Tackle prospect from 2006 had spinal stenosis and fell into the 2nd round and was the 7th T off the board. This could play a big role in Jones's draft stock, causing him to be one of the prospects that falls.
Also, Cooper Manning, Eli and Peyton's older brother had the same injury which ended his career. It forced Michael Irvin to retire early. His injury occured in a 1999 game and doctors advised him to retire, he did. Same with Chris Samuels, the #3 pick in the 2000 draft. His injury happened in 2009, causing temporary upper body paralysis, forcing him to retire.
This may be something to watch
And if he were to fall outside the top 10, would anyone consider trading up to get this guy?

I'd move up a few for Taylor Llewan if he fell, sounds crazy I know but last year there were only two LT's taken in round 1. Crazier things have happened.
I think the only two I would want to trade up for are Lewan and Fisher. If Jarvis Jones does drop and it is beginning to look like the injury may do it than I do not think we need to trade up. If he gets out of the top 15 I expect that his free fall will only continue, possibly into the second. None of us will know the severity of it but it does not sound like something that would bring comfort to a GM or owner who is investing in a teams future. On that note if he is dropping there probably is a very viable concern thus I would question picking him.

I dont think I would want trade up for him. Too risky IMO. Mingo I would trade up for if he fell. I'd also consider moving up a few spots for Ziggy Ansah.
Forgot about him. In the right situation, he could be an All-Pro.

One player that I do not want in any scenario is Sam Montgomery. He's a good talent as it stands, but I just don't see that high of a ceiling. What's more, many have complained of his bad attitude and work ethic. I don't really want that kind of player on my team.
