Switch Ryan and Flacco and I would agree. No way Ryan should be that high until he wins a playoff game.
Yea it was really hard for me to not put Joe above Matt. But Matt did have a fantastic season, granted that he does have two elite receivers. And yes Matt does need to prove himself in the postseason.

P.S. If this turns into another Flacco debate, it's getting closed. Stick to the rankings, please.

If Flacco beats Manning this weekend...perhaps Joe will go up rating wise.
maths says they'll be only 4 QBs left after sunday's games lol... so if we beat denver joe's definitely top 3... just like Ravens were 12th of 12 entering the playoffs, now 8th of 8 on nfl power rankings, next week 4th of 4 and so on and so forth

Manning, Rodgers, and Brady
Ryan and Flacco
Kaepernick, Wilson, Schaub.
And Schaub would be in the second tier had he not screwed up these last four games and historically not prevailed when the chips are down. Wilson has nice stats, but I don't like how they had to scheme guys wide open and add some read-option to get him to play at pro-level. His September was bad for a reason. I also don't like how he sacks himself by being too tentative to throw under pressure. I'm sure he has thrown some times knowing he's about to get hit, but I just never see it myself. He has the longest time-until-sack in the league. So extending the play has some benefits and some drawbacks.
Losers always say "Next time's gonna be different!". That's right, next time you're gonna lose again.

Personally, I don't necessarily rank players according to the overall success of their team - for example, were (SB winning) Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Jeff Hostetler and Jim Plunkett better QBs than (never winning) Warren Moon, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly and Dan Fouts? Barry Sanders, Bruce Smith, Dick Butkus, Anthony Munoz, and Tony Gonzalez are legendary NFL players who never won a Super Bowl.
So... I prefer examining statistics, and not team success, when "ranking" QBs.
The NFL uses "passer rating" to "rank" QBs - a complicated formula using Completion Percentage, Yds/Attempt, TDs/Attempt and INTs/Attempt. And, looking at Passer Rating, I found an interesting fact:
Only 3 NFL QBs have been ranked in the top 10 in Passer Rating in each of the last 5 years (2008-2012); only THREE:
Tom Brady
Aaron Rodgers, and...
Matt Schaub.

2. Tom Brady
3. Peyton Manning
4. Joe Flacco
5. Matt Ryan
6. Russell Wilson
7. Matt Schaub
8. Colin Kaepernick
And i think, if we win this Saturday, Flacco goes up to #3 in terms of playoff QBs.
