The Ravens were crucial in last year's Super Bowl champs not making it to this year's playoffs.

The Ravens are the initial cause of ESPN's golden boy, RGIII, becoming a broken man against the Seahawks today (Ngata's CLEAN hit).

The Ravens are a permanent shadow over Luck's head, because no matter how good he becomes or the legacy he creates, his first NFL playoff game was a huge defeat.

All this in the same season the Ravens experienced numerous setbacks, coaching changes and an end of an era.

Fox obviously slept with a gang of higher-ups to get a position she doesn't deserve, involved in something she doesn't understand.

Best to ignore and the numerous other writers, "analysts" and random talking heads that won't give the Ravens a chance against the Broncos all week.

With how well Denver played most of the season and their dismantling of this team in Week 15, I can understand why they'll likely be the overwhelming favourite.

But we've seen favourites fall in the play-offs before. And we've certainly seen Peyton come up small in the post-season as well.

Peyton has a lot of friends in the media. It's nothing new. We've been enduring it in New England for a long time. No matter how many times Brady owns Peyton, does better than Peyton, wins division titles, conference titles, Superbowl rings, breaks records, etc, he'll never be better than Peyton who is entitled to being known as the best.

Take this season for example. Brady and Rodgers have superior stats to Peyton (Brady is running the top 3 scoring offense of all time this year) and both are doing it without Denver top 5 defense and they're doing it against superior defenses.

Yet all MVP talk focused on Manning.... for getting a team in the play offs.... that went to the play offs last year.... with Tebow....

Well the last time the Ravens played the Broncos 8 of 11 Defensive starters were out and sometimes down to practice squad players, Yanda and Dixon were also out-- its not an excuse but the truth, that being said I still like our chances.

I've left a few "inspired" posts for her blogs. I'm not and haven't ever really been a fan of hers. A lot of ESPN writers don't even try to disguise their bias.

I haven't read an article from espn in months at least.. Don't even watch espn unless they're broadcasting a game I want to watch and can't watch any other way..

It's better that way

Yeah on the day Ray Lewis announced his retirement her article talking about his legacy being tainted was on the front page as well.

Honestly, I came into this tread expecting this Ashley Fox lady to be (somewhat) related to John Fox. I assumed she was his daughter, or even his wife, who thought it was a good idea to trash-talk the Ravens. I leave disappointed finding out she's just [i]another[/i] person from the media...

When you type "baltimore ravens are" in Google, two suggestions are "baltimore ravens are thugs" and "baltimore ravens are criminals". I think that that says plenty about how people feel about this team. i don't even want to know what comes up when you type in "Ray Lewis is". it doesn't matter though. The only opinions they care about are the opinions of their fans, and we feel very differently.

Looks like she's got a she-hard on for the 'foreheaded' one. :lol:

Mark my words, if Manning loses next week; the excuses will be rolling from ALL sports networks (even the Soccer ones :P) to place blame away from Manning and/or take away from the Ravens performance.
