Potential Trade Partners

We will be picking between 23-32.
We are not in the market for a quarterback of which there will be several targeted early in the second and will likely be the catalyst for such a trade to take place. However, as we saw in the 2011 draft, Day 2 Prospects might be selected in the top 15.
33. Jacksonville Jaguars
34. Kansas City Chiefs
38. Arizona Cardinals
39. New York Jets
41. Buffalo Bills
All of the above teams do not have a starting caliber quarterback. I think only Geno Smith will be taken before us. This is an uproven quarterback class.
The next five quarterbacks:
(After Geno Smith)
1. Matt Barkley, USC
2. Tyler Wilson, Arkansas
3. Tyler Bray, Tennessee
4. Landry Jones, Oklahoma
5. Tajh Boyd, Clemson
At most only two of those teams are likely to trade up as once they have played their hand, the remaining teams on the list can sit back and wait for one of these QBs.
For the record, I think Boyd could be a reach there but we've seen even third round players do okay.
Does anyone have any thoughts about which of those teams would be open to trade?
I think with new regimes we could see them make plays. I think KC and Buffalo could be viable trading partners. Especially since KC would be epicly reaching if they took a QB with #1 overall.

Oakland. They too stupid...
Haha while I think Carson Palmer might be a cap casualty. They could always sign Michael Vick or start Terrelle Pryor. OSU FTW.

Pryor is too raw... Will not be a good QB in the NFL. They want EJ Manuel or whatever his name isHaha while I think Carson Palmer might be a cap casualty. They could always sign Michael Vick or start Terrelle Pryor. OSU FTW.

I would throw Mike Glennon in that list of QBs though. Possibly as high as 3rd or 4th off the board. I think Tyler Wilson goes in the first round as well.

played ball with E.J. has to have the strongest arm I've seen in person. I dont know about the new Oakland regime, but the old one with Al Davis would have been all over himPryor is too raw... Will not be a good QB in the NFL. They want EJ Manuel or whatever his name is

Buffalo picking in the top 10 will not want to reach and will likely take either a linebacker or the best wide receiver on the board. While Buddy Nix said he intends to draft a QB, I cant see him reaching this much given how weak the class is. KC will reach only because Reid and their situation will force their hand.
Buffalo will then try to trade back in to grab the next best qb on the board and at 26 or 27 we are the perfect trade partner. We could acquire their second and 4th most likely.Tha
That being said, however, I would not like this move because I personally dont think this draft is as deep talent wise as you guys believe it is. I dont think there will be decent talent on the board when we pick in round four or even when the bills pick in the early fourth and I expect Ozzie and the scouting department to go look at small school talent and work their usual magic.

So we could take a Lewnan? I'm in for that (cough cough, still want Jarvis Jones)On a serious note, I think the Bills are our best trade partner. My reasoning is that I expect Geno Smith to go #1 overall to KC. Andy Reid is going to want his own qb and the new regime has the job of replacing matt cassel. Geno is the exact type of qb Reid likes.

Who doesnt but I wonder where we'd put Jarvis. It would make Upshaw a waste almost. So we could take a Lewnan? I'm in for that (cough cough, still want Jarvis Jones)

I personally think we need a DT or DE (depending on what we want to do with Ngata) that can really wreak havoc. I suppose with Jarvis we could do the following alignmentGood point! Hawkins will probably be there. THAT'S a good pick!
Stick Ngata at DT Suggs at DE and rotate Art Jones and Mcphee or some combination of this formation (Ngata and Suggs at the ends with Cody/whoever at DT). Then stick upshaw and jarvis on the outside. Then in our 4-3 alignment Jones can stick his hand in the dirt and rush the passer along with Ngata and Suggs.

Our options if we trade to that pick will probably be
Teo
Mingo
Hawkins
Dee
Lewnan
Allen
All in which are important needs for us as a team.
Personally I think we go after Albert in free agency and get him, and we get him. Leaving our top needs to be
DT
MLB
WR
So I propose that we do this it we get into that situation
Ravens recive
Bills 2013 First Round Pick
Bills 2013 2nd Round Pick
Bills get
Ravens 2013 First Round Pick
Ravens 2013 Third Round Pick
So in this position we would do this
Round One
Jonathan Hawkins
Round Two (Bills) Robert Woods
Round Two Authur Brown.
This is the scenario you suggested. That's a damn good draft too

Definitely wouldn't mind taking Woods in the second since he will probably there. Decent size and speed combined with great route running and above average hands. He reminds a lot of Hakeem Nicks. We don't have a good enough MLB

Just wondering, how high are you lol? No seriously. The Bills arent giving up their first next year for a late first unless there is a tremendous talent there. To prove it to you, we could barely coax a 4th out of the vikings they honestly could have waited and probably got harrison smith at the top of the second. We don't have a good enough MLB

Teo and Mingo will be gone within the top 10 and I expect Lewan to go before us in the first.
I dont expect Albert to hit FA and he will likely be tagged/signed long term.

You propose we swap first rounders, I did what I read on one of your previous posts.... That was an unlikely scenario, pretty much like this entire thread

Troll.
Nah, just young.... And incredibly tired.
But honestly, this situation is rather unlikely. As much as I want a trade to happen, Oz is no Dimitroff.... There is no Julio Jones in this draft. I want to trade don't get me wrong, but the unlikeness is well, getting to me......
You haven't been to RT yet have you? That's where the real trolls hang around. Me, call me rather misinformed, but really, who knows what's going on inside ozzies mind?
Troll is someone who does it for attention, I am a member on these boards and can state my opinion...... And even I'm reading my own comments and slapping myself in the head! Have a good day!
