Hi... sorry to be a pain... but could changes be made so that somebody be given permission to close the threads they opened and not just wait for a moderator to do that?

That is a mod function only. If you want a thread closed or ammended PM a mod.

You can also use "Report post to moderator" and we'll all get a notification. It's like a mass PM that we can't respond to LOL.
