[News] Joe Flacco At Ease Heading Into Playoffs

62 posts in this topic

I really don't expect the offense to be any different until next season. Caldwell already stated that he would not be changing the playbook at all right now, as it would be a dumb move this late in the season, but he calls plays well, and has a knack of getting the right play. There were a few errors that really cost the game against Denver, one being the fumble on 3rd and 1/in. and the pick 6. The pick 6 was result of looking his receiver down the whole way, and then bad placement on the throw. One thing I still cannot get over is how fast Joe got down the field and almost made the tackle even after being partially blocked. That showed heart of a competitor.

What I'm really looking for is Caldwell developing better route combinations for their receivers and allowing them to get open just based on schemes. Hopefully Joe won't have to force his throws anymore.

Has anyone noticed the main people who talk bad about Joe are defensive players such as Sapp? You think he knows anything about how to play QB, or what goes into being a QB? Ron Jaworski is about the only one who speaks with respectable knowledge on the position, and understands exactly how bad Cam was, and how the O-Line impacts Joe's play.

For all the flacco haters , go ask all those elites sitting at home watching the playoffs. Every year I hear about becoming more elite.........elite at what? Changing from sports enter to Espn news? It's about winning the game right? To sum up.......drew ,Phillip, cam, romo Eli.........4000 gazillions yards passing and only 1 remote to share amongst the bunch. By the way since when did passing for 20 int's become elite?
