I was thinking this earlier when I first heard the news! I pictured Chuck Pagano banging his table and saying, "This is the last thing we needed!"
~ ~ ~ ~

Now, please don't misunderstand my comment! I am NOT making fun of Chuck Pagano's condition! It's a shame to have to explain a remark but, what can I say, some of you are ... "interesting fans"!

Young guys ... you need to take this to heart. KO, Reid, Cody, Upshaw, Brown. We're not only counting on Sizzle, Ngata, Flacco, Rice ... it is everybody. Embrace the significance of this moment. Play like Ravens - not only this Sunday - but all the way to the point where you and your teammates hoist the Lombardi.

Ray did the right thing, doing this now will make us better, play with more heart. This is how I want Ray to go out, on top. The Colts or any other team just dont know, atvleast they dont right now, just wait.

So this is it, this is the end; what'll it be, 1 more game, 2 more games, 3, 4? Who wants to be the one to let him down, deny him a ring, who will be first to say "I didn't try hard enough, I wasn't prepared"? Are you gonna turn it loose Haloti, are you gonna crank it up Kruger, how do you want him to remember your final games together Sizzle? Who's got his back Ed? Who hits harder Bernard? Are you gonna step up in the pocket and make plays Joe, or are you going to make the old man win the game? Are you going down after first contact Ray, or do you grab grass and fight for extra yardage? Receivers, who's coming down with the ball? Tucker, you in or you out? Any Dogs in the house? Lets go knock the Horseshoes off their damn helmets! Lets defend this House! Seventeen years, the face of a franchise; let's make it a run to remember Ravens!

I'm wondering if this is just some jedi mind trick to get everybody psyched up for playoffs. I can't see him going out after a season like this. Either way though i feel bad for the other teams that have to play us. Whole team is gunna be out for blood now.

It's Ray Lewis! I think half the players in the league, the playoffs for that matter, wants him to go out rasing the Lombardi Trophy.

"Respect is earned ... respect is never given. It is better to be respected than liked. To hell with being liked."

Oh, love that sentiment right there. It speaks directly to the previous articles we've seen where the whole league and all its fans will be rooting against us during these playoffs.

I don't care. They will be forced to respect us.
