Lewis said this is it for him. He's retiring after season.

Ray Lewis told the team today "this will be my last ride."

I'm going to cry!

It was a great run, but I knew this day would come eventually.

I'll be forever grateful for what Ray has done and I hope we can get a LB with even 1/3rd the heart he has.

I'll miss you, Ray.

The time has come, unfortunately. Even though I knew it was coming soon, it still doesn't seem real that we won't be seeing 52 on the field anymore. Whether he's on the team or not, Ray will always be a Raven.

Don't think anyone didn't expect that. That hope may have always been there that he'd stay but I firmly expected it.

He's already one of the all-time greats. There will be no replacing Ray. It's been an absolute treat watching him play and hearing how he is off of the field.

I know people don't want to think about it, but with Ray gone, you think Ed will also decide it's time to go?

Wow, this is rough. I'm actually getting choked up. I really wish I was going to the game now. What a tremendous athlete, motivator, leader, and human being he is. We've got to get it done this year. Let Ray go out on top. We owe it to him, and to Art Modell.

I think Ed is gone regardless, unfortunately. He'll either retire or be playing in another uniform next year. We're so tight against the salary cap that I don't see a way to bring him back barring a discount from him.

Seeing him coming out of the tunnel for (probably) the last time will be really emotional.

You're one of the best Ray. We'll miss you.
