Its An Exciting Time To Be A Ravens Fan

25 posts in this topic

I mean can you blame us?
We never really had an offence like this.
Even the 10-6 McNair Season.
Our offence seemed like a continous series of good luck as opposed to good exacution.

How many games has Matt Stover given us the most points?
How many games has our offence looked like a bunch of kids in a sand lot?

For years and years we had an offence to be proud of.
We still do.
But now we have an offence that is still mosty young, packing on the points.
I didnt even know the Ravens could score 41 points. With only two of those on defence.

Man, it is an exciting time to be a Ravens fan.

It is time my Fellow Raven Maniacs to allow us to Absorb the lime light, as we head into Victory , a Win with under 80yrds allowed rushing Off will net us a new record Currently no one has gone over 73 yards total on us on the ground , time to make a Statement , Its time Joe and the Boys on O show the Murder of Ravens style Offense where we take the ball for 35+ mins and show thier secondary that the word Murder( also used for a Flock of Raven or Crow) is what we can do to an opponents Score board , the good D cometh and the good D giveth ball to Joe in 3 plays and the good Man Joe and his Friends Shall show us the way to 6 Touchdown Avenue , where the Party never ends :D

Sorry, but my post may not be as eloquent as yours; however, I am so proud of Joe and our young O line. Who would have thought that our offense could score 40+ points in any game. I think that the Harb's boot camp/training camp served our players well. We needed to go back to old school football, instead of Billick's prima donna camps. I know that Joe will have a break out game this sunday and our D will perform at their usual high level. GO RAVENS

McNair was firing on a cylinders then got banged up at the end of the year. I think watching BJ Sams go down was the turning point...

I'm not opposed to more people, I just get very agitated seeing the same pointless threads over and over again. It seems like every other topic is about ESPN or someones meaningless personal experience. I don't understand people who start a thread to tell others that they're going to the game, how does that expand my knowledge about this team? This forum should be devoted to insightful conversation about the game and the players. Unfortunately, very few threads have any substance at all, and are merely unsubstantiated claims that are purely objective and do not promote any kind of intelligent conversation.

This ties into the reason I dont like all the news media jumping on our band wagon.

Bandwagon / fair weather fans.

Ravens are looking HOT so its easy and cool to be a fan. If you were a fan at the end of last season you can call your self a fan. Other wise....

I agree with that, I'm new to the forum, but I've been a Ravens fan since we've had the team. It just like when we won the Super Bowl and you saw all those Ravens flags flying down the streets on cars, last year...not so much. If you're a fan just be a fan all the time. Did last season hurt? Yes but sticking by your team during the hard times means a lot.

You better check my Tat!!! :D I'm a RAVEN's fan for life and it is always exciting to be one! Rain, snow or shine. Because it is not going to rain or snow all the time. Right now the sun is shining bright so it is easy to be a RAVEN's fan but what about on the cloudy days? :o

not really. sams went down in the bengals game and that was our last loss before the postseason we went 4-0 without him (in the regular season)

yeah I seen alot of people jumping on flacco the weeks of our losses , it irritated me so bad I think people need to remember We are Fans , We need to Support our Team in good times and in not so good times, I remember defending Jamal and Ray to my family in the past when they had legal issues . I still dont see why people come on here say they're fans and talk down the team or say how they are messing up, if you get your pads on and take a hit from ray or catch a flacco pass ( mind you that ball comes at like 92mph) then you can tell them what they should be doing , until then anything you say is speculative.

so be a Fan not a Critic , trust the players , and the coaches , and please dont be a jerk

I woulddn't go that far. :P

The Ravens definitely are exciting to watch though. No opponent has it easy (save the Colts this year, but we've ALL had bad games before). With Flacco, you guy have every reason to be excited about the rest of this season as well as the future. I look forward to more hate and discontent for years to come.

CHEERS!

Mods, can we get a "cheers" emoticon?

Thanks, my memory is evidently fuzzy. I just remember seeing that and thinking there goes the field position return game.
