Just another name to kick around, but how about Brandon Lloyd? He's 32, but he'd likely come cheap, and if he could get anywhere near his Broncos form, he would be worth signing.

I have zero--I mean zero--interest in Brandon Lloyd. Nothing to do with him being from the Pats or his attitude or anything like that. He owes me $15 bucks and still hasn't paid. Dirt bag.

Lol. Yeah. What a waste. I didn't get him high, but still. I also don't play FF a lot. I find it boring to an extent and a waste of time. I like betting on games more than FF. I do really well with that.

It's reported that the Patriots released yesterday WR Brandon Lloyd.

Brandon Lloyd still a good receiver, besides not having a good season with the Patriots. Understandable since he didn't have many space being shadowed by the air heavy offense. Behind Welker, Gronkowski, Hernandez and by the surprising rush game.

Still, Lloyd is only 31 old, 2 years younger than Boldin. He's a little bit more explosive than Anquan, is a physical and also a redzone threat. Clearly have good hands. He was expected to make 2 millions before being cut by the Pats.

I'm thinking about a 2 year/3-4 million range.

Could this be possible?

Lmao bro, that was hilarious.

Still, I like Lloyd. He had an ok year with the Patriots last year besides the young Patriots offense. He posted 74 receptions for 911 yards and 4 touchdowns. In our roster he would clearly be more required. I believe this could be a great signing, for us, and for him as a redemption from last seasons.

With that, we could clear another position for the Draft (since we do not have a terrific WR class this year). And then focus on OL and LB/S.

What? I really disagree right there. Big time.

1. Keenan Allen
2. DeAndre Hopkins
3. Tavon Austin
4. Cordarrelle Patterson
5. Justin Hunter
6. Markus Wheaton
7. Robert Woods
8. Terrance Williams
9. Da’Rick Rogers
10. Stedman Bailey
11. Cobi Hamilton
12. Marquess Wilson
13. Qunton Patton
14. Chris Harper
15. Brandon Kaufman

That's a really nice list of WR talent in this draft. I would be thrilled if we got any of those guys.

With a list that long, we should be able to snag a solid guy in later rounds. That would be great. Having said that, I don't see the issue with signing Lloyd before that, if the price is right. Why not add to our depth with a proven veteran to go along with all the young guys? I don't see where it hurts us. I'm not saying we have to do this, but I think it is low risk with possibly high reward.

If he's a camp body, sure, why not. Vet minimum deal is all right with me. Same with DHB & Mark Clayton.

The Giants have continued to show a lack of commitment to Victor Cruz, the star of FA. They've resolved to place a 1st-round tender on him, which won't prevent hordes of passing-game-hungry teams.

[/quote]He might be expendable, they have young talent in Rueben randle and jerrel Jernigan .

Fortunately for your comprehension of the situation, all of them have signed, except for Hey-Bey (underperforming 1st-round pick from OAK) and Cruz (star receiver for NYG and hometown hero).
