I was hoping Flacco would get the rookie of the week with ray being defensive player.

not considering we've at 1 or more players in some type of contest every week since week 5

Especially somebody like Ray. He's like "been there done that".

On the other hand, Flacco is new at this NFL stuff. When he won Rookie of the week he was probably thinking "I'm a ******* NFL quarterback, and I just won a merit for being a damn good one, Go me."

Yea, like flacco said he walked into practice and congratulating him last week and he didnt even know what for. I think its just another way for the NFL to make money off of people that are willing to sponser these types of "contests" but its always nice to be recognized

They do and they don't because it may, in fact, have an impact on the voting for Defensive MVP and Rookie of the Year, etc.

Yeah! I loved that play too. Glad to see the "old man" is still winning awards. It sure would have been great for two Ravens to win in one week, though. Hope Ray repeats that play an sunday. That would be awesome against the Giants. GO RAVENS
