Of course Boomer Esiason would say (to possibly rub it in) that the Baltimore Ravens have lost 4 of their last 5 (games), immediately, in the post-game report. Geez; I can't stand him...
Lol, how dare he present a factual statement.

Hmmm-- Bengals win 7 out of last 8, Ravens lose 3 of last 4. Yikes! And the Steelers win today.
That means nothing, we played well with our backups. Don't be discouraged brother, Joe knows how to win playoff games. Steelers beat a practice squad quarterback, and now their season is over. As long a Leach is ok, we will be fine. Our season starts now! One game at a time. Beat those Colts!

I'm feeling the opposite right now..
The Colts were at home (they're like 4-4 on the road) against an out-of-form team with a massive psychological boost. Their run defence is literally one of the worst in the league, our improved pass rush (with Suggs and Haloti back) should be able to get to Andrew Luck and we should be able to come up with some tough schemes for him.

I know you could make the argument for us being out of form, but at least we had the Giants game last week and home turf will count for a lot.

Well in the work picked league I'd have had 2nd all to myself if the Ravens won, which is $400, but now at worst ill tie for 2nd and split that. BUT if the Vikings beat the Packers, it'll be a three way tie for 1st

I'm confident we'll win against either.. It's the next round that scares me if we face Denver

If Denver beats KC which should not be a problem.

So Pierce, KO, and Leach got hurt... any news yet? All seemed minor.
Until I see an official statement from the Ravens, my theory is that Osemele was 'hooked' to see how Oher would go at RT. It is the pre-season and all.

As for Pierce and Leach, we can only hope. Pierce was eventually brought back into the game so he should be fine, but if there was a mid-game injury report on Leach I missed it.

There was no reason to pull Flacco in the first half. He wasn't getting hammered or anything. Tyrod in and only what? 3 passing plays the whole time? That is not playing to win.

We're going to hate ourselves when we lost here and NE loses later today. Blown opportunity.
The only thing I disagree with Harbaugh about is dressing Flacco and Rice. Why even bother doing that? Just sit all 1st teamers and try to win with the backups. There was really nothing to gain from this game.
Midway in the first quarter. They played like 2 series and that was it.

Bengals didn't pull Dalton/Green until after the half.

Alright TYROD !!!!!! Good game against all haters.....Number 2 offense against their starters.... Now what!!!!!!!!! Minus a missed field goal by Tucker and the hole in the line we call Bobbie Williams. And the pick 6 he threw to Dunlap i would say he played a good game.

Maybe it's naive, but I'm not that scared of Denver. Had we not made some untimely mistakes, that game could have been pretty close. We all know what those mistakes were, so no need to rehash them - my point is that we COULD have beat them, or at least made it close. So, if we don't make those kind of mistakes and stop with all the careless penalties, we can win against Denver...or any other team for that matter. JMO

I believe we're locked in the #4 seed now.
Typo.
Tyrod had some trouble passing, but what a runner. We should use him more.

Its not a horse collar tackle if the qb is still between the tackles. That is why it wasnt called.

I think you're confusing horse collar tackling with intentional grounding
If it hasn't already been settled... it is not considered a horse-collar tackle as long as the QB is still in the pocket (ie, a point two-yards outside of either Tackle, the LOS and the offense's endzone.. the pocket can expand outside of that if you have a Tight End/s who drop off the LOS to pass protect).

We had a similar play against Cincinnati last season where (I believe it was) Terrell Suggs who pulled Dalton down.

I commend the Ravens' bench for a close game! Came within 1 play of beating CIN's starters! HOU should eat them up at Reliant Stadium... again.
