Why is it giving up? These guys are playing with all the heart in the world.
After all the injuries, I don't blame Harbs.

before the INT he was actually playing surprisingly well considering he's been a benchwarmer. i guess these guys were just expecting a Kapernick kind of situation.

I mean if Kapernick were on this team, i'd take it seriously because he's really talented.

How you feel about Tyrod now?
To be honest... I still like him... He could be a starter in the NFL. He is playing almost all of the Bengals 1's with our 2's and 3's. Just watching him play is exciting... Not saying that he is better or will be better than Flacco, but if the money is not right and we can't afford him and replenish this team I think he can be a good qb for us. Just imagine saving the money that is wanted by Flacco and spending it on a good LT, moving Oher to RT, Yanda, OS at Guards Birk (Gradkoski) at center. But I will be happy either way.

On a side note I wonder if we could move Yanda to Center (like we did Brown) and Ried plays the other guard spot.

Look at Indy, guys. They had absolutely nothing to gain. 0. Not even a 20% chance of a higher seed, and they played their starters and rode it out. No major injuries, I don't think.

Why do we have to give up?

They are playing as much for Chuck as they are for themselves, but hats off to them...

Oh its easy Flacco has more experience playing the position. The offense is structured to fit his skill set. So Flacco should start. To answer the first part of your post Flacco should look a lot better than a Qb that has not played a whole quarter in a real season in his career. Flacco already carved this team up in week one, however they are a better team now.

What skill set? Do you mean throwing the ball? Believe me, I wish Taylor would be better at passing the ball. The better the backup, the more motivated the starter is to excel and if he loses his job your team ends up with a great QB. That's not the case with the Ravens though. We don't have the same luxury, that the Seahawks or Redskins have.

Hate to be so negative, right now, but I just hope Tyrod Taylor isn't on next year's roster. I have not seen anything special that Taylor brings to the table. Sure, he can scramble and can get out of the pocket to avoid the blitz, but that's about it.

I'm sorry, but Tyrod's throwing motion is way too sloppy to be consistent in the NFL. Plus, I'm not sure if it was by design, but it seems like Tyrod Taylor just lacks that "confidence" to pass the football; it's almost like he wants to run and just run. Finally, his accuracy is more miss, than hit, after a short pass.

Even as just the back-up, I feel the Baltimore Ravens should either sign a proven veteran in the off-season or either draft someone late that is "similar" to Joe Flacco. That way, if worse comes to worse, the Ravens would at least have someone who can come-in for Flacco if he was to get hurt. But, that's just my two cents...

Even though we may lose, this was a good chance to get a look at some folks and get them some game experience. It's a win!

Agree with this, especially the last part.

With Pagano coming back, there was no way the Colts wouldn't try for the win.

Hopefully next week we can get up and belt the Colts at home (not even close to impossible) and get some momentum from there.
