There was no reason to pull Flacco in the first half. He wasn't getting hammered or anything. Tyrod in and only what? 3 passing plays the whole time? That is not playing to win.

[/quote]Nothing really, but the path to the SB is much easier if we don't have to face Denver in the divisional round (which would be the case if the seeding stays as is...but for the seeding to stay as is the Texans need to win).

Point is, it was more important to rest injured players, such as Marshal Yanda. Thus, there was no need to "force" Joe Flacco out there with Bobbie Williams on the starting unit. Plus, the back-ups have been outplaying the Cincinnati Bengals starters, anyways...

If they lose, we lose, and NE wins we get matched up against the Broncos for the divisonals. If they lose, we win, and NE loses, we get matched up against the Texans for the divisonals.

The key is that we'd desperately want a dipping Texans team over the Broncos or Patriots. If the Texans come second, we'd have to hope for a Cincy upset over New England in the Wild Card game (assuming they win).
