well, tebow's going to be a jag next year (imagine the ticket sales!), but nonetheless i agree. you can't have a wildcat quarterback. a scrambling QB with a nice arm is a commodity.

Yea tebow wont sell tix here.

Yeah this is a lot like pre-season football. I'm paying more attention to the Colts-Texans game.

Not as big or Fast! But yes same style
I wouldnt say Foster is fast either. Foster is quick though, especially when changing direction or making a cut, and Pierce shows a lot of that too.

Well, I don't really find it especially amusing that our first round pick isn't doing too good... Definitely not "lol"...

WHere were you in the "jimmy Smith" topic I was getting bash in? haha. I've said it once and I'll say it again. Injuries don't stop someone from turning their head to play the ball or get beat by double moves

Yes. We definitely need to get Q healthy and back on the field to prove this.
Remember those great passes up the middle to Q last week. I would love to see more of that. Oh, that leaping catch and the other one that Joe threw low for Anquan to scoop up. God I love Boldin. :)
How many times has Joe done that, I'm not knocking Joe but I think he's not able to do all the things Taylor can do...likewise I think joe can do things he can't. I'm not going to lobby him to take over Joe's spot, it's just nice to see a serviceable backup.
I seem to remember Joe Flacco being somewhat mobile, earlier in his career. Well, at least Flacco was known to take a chance (if no one was open) and try to run with the football. I mean, he did that against the Kansas City Chiefs, this year, and it worked.

But, then again, to be fair, it's not like the offensive line has given Joe Flacco the time to even throw the football, consistently, over the years...

What I don't understand is that if the Bengals are trying to avoid ijuries to their key players so bad, why do the make them play at all?

But, let that be their problem.

Can turn into a liability fast. Griffin is great, but he got himself hurt in the game against us. Somehow linebackers always manage to win those strength battles on the field against QB. Must be the 100+ pounds, they have on them.
I still think that a pocket passer, that can sense pressure and move well inside the pocket is the best possible QB. Joe needs to work on that still, clearly. That pass to Pitta against the Giants was sweet though.

Pierce is the true gem of this draft.
i'm starting to like this draft more looking into the future. Upshaw is the run stopper we were looking for, KO has already impressed me (even though he shouldn't be playing there), Pierce is a monster, Gino looks promising, and hopefully we get some value out of streeter soon.

i was thinking the same thing. they have absolutely nothing to gain from this game except for a mark in the W column. they're locked at number 6. at least there's a chance this game could mean something for Baltimore.
