Per Jason La Canfora, a deal is now "imminent" between the Chiefs and Andy Reid and could be finalized tonight. Jason also added that Reid will not interview with the Cardinals or Chargers.

I find it funny how it was 95% done to the Cardinals and he hadn't even met with them yet.

I don't understand why any big name coach would go to KC. Maybe Reid knows something we don't (i.e. Aaron Murray is entering the draft), but the players there are a poor scheme fit for what he does.

And ESPN just said something about Todd Haley and the Cardinals, because he was such a rousing success as a HC before.

Reid I bet would try to get Vick to go with him to KC allowing KC to go a different route in the draft, like Luke Joeckel at # 1 to secure the LT while moving Brandon Albert over to RT. Or getting Vick would allow them to get a 4-3 DE like Damontre Moore while trading either Hali or Justin Houston to a 3-4 team.

Nah, they're probably building new video screens so they can be bigger than the new Texans video screens: http://www.houstontexans.com/news/article-2/Reliant-Stadium-to-have-widest-video-displays-in-pro-sports/fb89292e-3349-495e-8e12-174a2dd8c526

Cleveland is ready to make an offer that Chip Kelly "can't refuse".
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns will be prepared to make Oregon coach Chip Kelly "an offer he can't refuse" if this weekend's interview goes well.
I'm starting to think Chip could very well land in Cleveland, the money will be too much to refuse as long as Oregon doesn't offer to pay him more than Cleveland's offer to stay. I can also see Michael Vick following Andy Reid to KC.

Good. If anyone can put an end to the ridiculous notion that Kelly is going to revolutionize the NFL offense, it's the AFC North.

Another name to remove from the Head Coaching search. Earlier Atlanta OC Dirk Koetter decided to stay in Atlanta with a new two year contract rather pursue a Head Coaching job. Now Penn State fans can rejoice, Bill O'Brien is STAYING at Penn State.

Good. I would have been VERY angry had he bailed on the program after only one season.

Reid's taking his talents to... Kansas City?! A 2-14 team hires a coach that just went 4-12 and 12-20 in the past 2 seasons. I think they'd be better off re-hiring Joe Montana.

Well I knew that was coming. He should've been fired with Crennel.

Rules and contract negotiations slow things down. Speaking of rules, did KC interview anyone else? I thought the Rooney rule was still in place...

I'm pretty sure they talked to Ray Horton, just like everyone else.

I still don't know what make of Andy Reid's hiring by the Kansas City Chiefs. And while I don't think it is easy for a NFL coach to just take time off and still have "it" (when he comes back), I still thought it was best for Reid to take a year off and recharge his batteries. After all the stress he got in Philadelphia and not living-up to expectations, one would think accepting another job, immediately, would be the last thing someone would do.

But, then again, this is Kansas City, we're talking about. So maybe Andy Reid can work some magic, under-the-radar, there. Anyways, best of luck!

I though the Cards were like "very close" to getting Reid? That changed quick lol. I'm guessing they go with Ray Horton now.

Chip Kelley should come over this year. The dark horse college coach that I have heard is Doug Marrone from Syracuse because he was with the Saints before he went to Syracuse a few years ago.
