Colt McCoy was lucky to still be around this season. I think he is pretty much gone no matter who they hire. I'm not certain that they will give up on Weedon after only one season.
Weeden wouldn't fit his system and if they keep Weeden, it is going to be laughable watching Weeden try to play in Chip's system. I wouldn't be surprised if Vick ends up in Cleveland since he would be a better fit for Chip's system since there is no good quarterback in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone will interview with the Bills and Browns. Seems like I could be right about Marrone being a dark horse candidate.

Bills GM Buddy Nix will be transitioned out by assistant GM Doug Whaley. Most likely Whaley takes over after draft.

Bills promote CEO Russ Brandon to be president and CEO.

He is under contract for like 3 more years so they didn't want to buy him out.
I could see that, just a reason why long-term deals for coaches are generally bad i.e. Billick

Having Calvin Johnson might help with that
Help with what? His numbers, even with having 727 attempts, were not that good

As a bleeder of Penn State blue through and through, I would be mighty ticked off if O'Brien jumps ship after only one season. Guess it's a wait-and-see but...

Russ is very fond of former Cardinals HC Ken Whisenhunt.
Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports that Brandon is “fond” of Ken Whisenhunt, who was fired as the Cardinals’ coach a short time after the Bills relieved Chan Gailey of his duties on Monday. Per Graham, Brandon “would like the opportunity to land” Whisenhunt as the team’s next head coach.
Update: Bills to interview Whisenhunt on Wednesday.

I can't see him leaving after 1 year there.

Update: Peter King says he is strongly considering interviewing with an NFL team.

If he was the kind of coach to jump ship quickly, he wouldn't have joined Penn State. Everyone expected the Lions to be dead and gone post-Paterno and he led them to an impressive winning streak to start the season. Therefore, I don't see him going anywhere.

If you were Jerry Richardson, would you fire Ron Rivera after his 4-game winning streak to end the season? I think he's done a great job with Cam Newton, DeAngleo Williams and Greg Olsen. He has a young team with a lot of potential that a lot of analysts predict will make the playoffs next year.

Id fire him. Let's not forget that some of these wins came when teams had nothing to play for. ATL had the number one seed already and while they did play that game, its not like there was a lot of emphasis on winning

Who would you replace him with then? It seems like everyone's looking for a coach in the off-season. The coach would have to be able to create a system that complements Cam Newton's unique skill-set.

Here is an updated look at candidates/rumors for each job.

It seem like San Diego is the only one with a brain here. Seriously why isnt Arians on more lists? Also with the exception of Lovie and maybe Andy Reid, none of these guys should be HC's elsewhere.

Honestly, Id pull a college coach. If I had to pick one (not in any liklihood that it would happen), Id probably choose Ohio State's head coach. Cam is the exact type of qb that school in general likes to have

I think Mike McCoy deserves to be a head coach.

Realistically, I think Chip Kelley would be good for him. Plus Carolina can give him the control he wants because they currently don't have a GM.

Grrrrrrrrr. I know interviewing doesn't mean acceptance of a position but look at Pags.....

Sounds like Tom Heckert will be the Cardinals GM to be with Reid.

Arians is the front runner for the Chargers and Whisenhunt is the front runner for the Bills.
