Anybody want to go apply for a new job? Seems like the NFL is hiring pretty well today!
I have my resume ready if anyone wants to call me for their vacant GM spot, I just hope 6 virtual Super Bowl wins on Madden is enough lol.

McCoy actually had some experience with Cutler before he was traded to Chicago.

Haven't heard Cam on the hiring block yet..... I think Caldwell is not bad at all; I want to see how he takes Joe to next level in the playoff......*I can't use enter button on my windows 8* I hated it.

I think Caldwell will stay as our OC.

I'm not as gung ho about it as before. I'm about 50/50 right now on bringing Whisenhunt here to OC. It's between him and Caldwell in my book though.
Give Caldwell a chance to prove himself before you go dumping him overboard. We haven't had a full season to even know for sure...if he goes on next season as he has the end of this one, he's a keeper!

Jon Gruden is leaning towards staying with ESPN.

Crap, another year of watching MNF with the volume muted if that is the case.

If the Cardinals want to make Ray Horton their HC, they better do it fast. They have already received requests from teams to interview Horton as Head Coach.

Wasn't Jim Zorn in Kansas City and fired along with Crennel? Why not keep Caldwell as OC and bring back Zorn as QB Coach?

He is in Kansas City but I don't know if the rest of the staff has been fired yet.

Can't wait until the day Tom Brady retires and Bill Belichick moves on, as a result. That will be the day the Ryan Mallett/Josh McDaniels era begins in New England. Somehow, I see a lot of LOLs coming from that tandem and they will be the opposite of consistency...

I have thought about that scenario, as well. Obviously, removing the QB's coach label from Jim Caldwell will ease things up for him, allowing him to focus solely on running the entire offense and game-planning for each game. Plus, Jim Zorn era in Baltimore was really short-lived and I recall Joe Flacco liking Zorn as the quarterbacks coach. So, hopefully, things fall into place and Jim Zorn is scooped-up by another team.

Bears are players very upset over Lovie's firing.

You know a team is very upset when Devin Hester is considering retirement just because Lovie Smith got fired...

This year the Lions are back to the bottom where they are historically used to be, regardless with all the hypes they recieved from previous year. I thought they are very talented team too, but they need a true leader. I don't understand Schwartz is still alive when all good coaches are getting fired from left to right.....

I think Lane Kiffin was trying to get into the Black Monday action as well.

I find it funny the Cardinals are interviewing Andy Reid to be their next HC and feel he is an upgrade over Whiz when Whiz was a better Head Coach and just needed a new GM to give him a good quarterback he can work with.

That would help them more than they ever know. I hope he stays there forever as a Gator Fan it so easy to steal from USC now

From PFT: Lovie Smith has already received four interview invitations already. No teams were named.

http://profootballta...ay-out-of-work/

The Eagles have five candidates on their list and their list consists of Penn State Coach Bill O'Brien, Falcons OC Dirk Koetter, 49ers OC Greg Roman, Colts OC Bruce Arians, and Oregon's Chip Kelly. All are offensive minded coaches.

Chip Kelly coming to the AFC North? Apparently Chip Kelly is "Number 1" on the list of Head Coaching candidates for the Browns.
The Sideline View's Adam Caplan reports that Oregon head coach Chip Kelly is the Browns' "clear No. 1 choice" for the team's head-coaching vacancy.
http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/253250/report-chip-kelly-is-no-1-choice-for-cle

If that is the case, Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy would indeed be gone as neither would fit Chip Kelly's offensive system.

Colt McCoy was lucky to still be around this season. I think he is pretty much gone no matter who they hire. I'm not certain that they will give up on Weedon after only one season.
