Me too.

Besides Gruden, does anyone see Cowher, Billick or another big name coach who hasn't coached in a while return in 2013?
I think Gruden is the only possibility and I don't think he comes back this year.

In other news, Rex Ryan would rather get fired than not have more control.

I think Billick is a possibility, he seems to be itching but again he's got a cush job working with the network as an analyst.

I really don't want to see Cowher on a sideline again, just his projecting saliva is enough to make me not want to see him again.. ever.

Gruden, he talks big, but I don't think he'll be back. Not any time soon anyway.

Black Monday should be interesting. Can't wait to see who replaces the current coaches and if we get more college coaches due to Carrol's and Harbaugh's success and the big name coaches that could return.
There's very little talent to spare in the NFL, so we should see a lot of fresh college faces come the off-season.

Most teams can't sink any further, anyway. Jacksonville, anybody? :sinking:

He is a top 5 WR but not in production this year because of his QB situation. Give him a decent QB and he will shine like he did with Kurt Warner.

Agreed Fitz is still arguably the second best receiver in the nfl from a talent perspective. Id only take Megatron over him because physically hes just uncoverable

He's anchored down in Arizona (get it?!) for the next 6 years with his $120 million contract, so he's got to ride out the QB debacle, for better or worse.

Almost makes me want to root for them! I'm sure his job is fine though, Woody Johnson holds onto his staff like a bad habit (Tannenbaum, Schottenheimer, Sanchez, etc).

He could always demand a trade, and he could get it assuming teams would pay enough value for him. Arizona needs a lot of help in a lot of places and they need to do it via draft since he locks them down cap wise.

I just don't see AZ letting go of their 1 star, especially on the offensive side of the ball, where AZ has been so unstable. Their passing game would completely collapse in his presence, a la the Jets.

I mean I agree but if someone offers gives an rg3 offer for fitz, I take it. Hes about to be 30. It would clear an insane amount of Cap and Arizona would actually a shot a rebuilding into a competitive team. It would also be the right thing to do for Fitz since keeping him would mean he'd be stuck on mediocre team for the rest of his career. Trading would at least give him a superbowl shot.

Didn't realize he was that old! If he stays true to his contract, he'll most likely retire a Cardinal. He must be hungry for a Super Bowl after losing with Kurt Warner a couple years back.

Not sure he cares. I mean he signed that deal knowing that the cards werent likely going back anytime within 3 years of signing it so...

Since, we're talking about them, let me just say Flacco and Fitzgerald together would be epic!! Talk about filling a gap at WR! But alas, Ozzie and BIsciotti don't have $90 million or so lying around in the bank...

What??? Don't you know that Ozzie and Steve have unlimited spending and can acquire any player they want just like that... $90 Million, that's chump change.

To keep this on topic, and we can get an coach we want too so let's get Whiz while we are at it.

Are you being sarcastic? BAL is a pretty small team. They can't just throw around money like the Jets or Cowboys.

Do you guys think we'll see someone keep his job and not be fired? My money is on Pat Shumur staying in Cleveland.

I can't believe someone suggested Mike Mularkey would be fired when Khan said he wanted to get some football people running the Jaguars which leads me to believe GM Gene Smith is gone and Mularkey stays for at least another year and works with Tebow.

Yes I was, I was mocking how every time during the off-season people post about they want the Ravens to sign every free agent, etc.

I have to admit though... Boldin & Fitz back together again... that would be pretty amazing to see in purple & black. Just saying.

And you really think Mularkey has a chance at keeping his job? He's the Billy Cundiff of coaching (Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Miami Atlanta, Tampa and Jacksonville). And sure, that could be said for about any coach, but aside from his time in Atlanta, I don't see any sparkles on his resume.

I hope Shurmur is fired on Sunday at around 5pm personally and doesn't make it to Monday.
I'm sure you're not the only Browns fan that thinks that. I've heard some rather unfavorable things about him from Cleveland fans themselves.

I have counted about 10 head coaches who could be fired come Monday, that would mean 10 new coaches. Which college coaches you think will come up into the NFL besides Chip? I would think NFL teams would be leading toward college more due to the success of Harbaugh and Carrol.
