The way I see it is that we have some pressing needs as a team..... These are our most important needs.
LT
MLB
OLB
DT
WR
Are the biggest needs on the team.

The secondary might be the best in the NFL when fully healthy

Webb is one of the three best CB's in the NFL
Jimmy has the chance to be THE BEST in the NFL
Grahm is a servicable corner
Brown has been pretty good, might be a diamond in the rough.
Pollard is an All pro
Reed needs to step up his game

And we do not know who we have in Asa and Christian.

So the DB's are not the most glaring needs

The Dline could use some work

Ngata is without a doubt the best DT in the NFL, and the closest person to him is miles away from him.

Jones has looked dominate the past few games, I like him

McPhee is a good DE, another diamond in the rough

The problem comes at NT. Cody is not a great NT. Kemo theropy shouldn't be playing anymore. One possible solution is to move Ngata to nose tackle. Which is what I think we will do.... I mean honestly, at full health is there a guy in the NFL that can shut him down? He embaresses Pouncy every time, and does the same with Mack. He is a nightmare for centers

The LB's are a rather big need.

Suggs at full health is the best OLB in the NFL. He needs to get healthy

Ray Ray is a coach on the field. I have a feeling he will stay another year unless we win a SB

Ellerbe has been playing like a pro bowler.

Upshaw is an unknown

Kruger is a situational pass rusher.

We need a new MLB to replace Ray..... Ellerbe is good, but we need another solid ILB to compliment him in a 3-4.

Our biggest need is the O-Line

Oher is misplaced.... He is an all pro on the right, yet we use him on the left.

Osemele is misplaced. IMO he has the chance to be better than Yanda in terms of a guard. He is a mauler

Birk has a replacement in Gino....

Then comes LT. We need a blindside protector. A LT is a glaring issue, even more so than MLB.

Another need is WR
Irrev. WTH are you talking about? Torrey is elite, Tommy can be elite, Boldin is a solid slot guy. Jacoby has great speed.

Relax, Boldin is being used properly now (finally), and Torrey for a second year guy is really good. None of them are great, and this draft has some solid WR talent. Guys like Terrance Williams, Keenan Allen, Robert Woods, Hunter and Patterson, have the potential to be great. Another weapon for Joe is critical to the team's sucess. Is it a GLARING need? No, but if Oz continues to use his BPA strategy it will be on a WR probably. If Keenan Allen is their in the late first, Oz is going to pounce on him..... Allen has the chance to be a star in the NFL.

Marcus McNeil LT

No to Bowe all his tds and yards are in garbage time and we would want way to much. The best bang for our buck would be an LT it would shift our line around to become great.

i don't consider OLB a need unless Kruger leaves. He has graded out as one of the best 3-4 LBs this year.

With a mass cleaning of the house, and many restructurings we have enough Cap room to assemble a "dream team" if you will. The problem here is in Philly that did not work. Here is why it did not work

Juan Castillo sucked as a DC
Vick is a trunover machine
Vick is injury prone
Reid cannot control a Locker Room
Reid does not know about offensive balance
Nnamdi and DRC were being used wrong. They are Press DB's and not Zone
They did not have an ILB capable of defending the Run.

Now here we have Pees who is unprediactable as a DC.... Every now and then he will play man to man, or Zone, and Webb and Jimmy are adaptable. Cary on the other hand was not.

With a Fully healthy Suggs, Reed, Lewis, Ngata, Ellerbe, Webb, Jimmy, and Pollard we have a pretty formiddalble D. The problem is that injuries killed us this season, and no Suggs meant lack of Pass Rush, which gave opposing QB's all the time in the world to throw.

Suggs is now back and our D has improved TREMENDOUSLY. Pees now uses more Man to Man coverage.

So a pure Defensive draft would give us more Ammo

Depending on what happens with Boldin, if he decides to stay I say we try to find another TE. Nothing against Pitta or Dickson, just someone else to compliment them especially if we run an offense like we did like last weekend. I don't want us being like New England and running out of receivers at that position if we're going to be utilizing them more.

Biggest need, as stated, is the LT position. Whoever we get, Velcro his feet to that side of the line. I do not want Oher back over there, period. Great on the right, bad on the left. Right, good... left, bad. Understand?

And LBs. Lots of LBs. We were down to the skin of our teeth this year, don't want that happening again if when we're going to have to defend our Super Bowl Champions status in 2013. :D

I reckon we need a FS. Omar Brown (who I am a bulk fan) could replace Reed but safety drafts could be dry in the next few years, our chance is now. If we have two free safeties on our rosters we could have some security against the pass when we need it. But OL and DL are bigger needs.

Eric Fisher in the first
Jesse Williams or Jon Jenkins if they somehow fall to us in the second.

Currently top pass rusher. Performs best from the left. I want him resigned.

Suggs and Upshaw on run downs.
Suggs and Kruger on passing downs.

Sorted.

TONS of Cap room left over........... But is somewhat lazy, but his ability is not questioned.

well to your credit at least you have some analysis whether its right or wrong, who is truly to know. Brandon's threads are just ridiculous. They take him 5 minutes to make and have not thought or care put into them. Every now and then you just get the ol' 3 new topics at once:

1. Is Defence a need?
2. Is offence a need?
3. Are the football too brown?

and you just want to pull your hair out.

Wow ... lots of hate for Brandon. There's only one Brandon. I see most people posting analysis. I've posted two mocks in 5 months and I feel it is too much for me. I for one will be posting my mock after the SB.

Where do you stand on FA considering our salary cap?
