No way we can keep ahold of Pierce next year.
Of course we can keep him...he'll be on his rookie contract for a couple more years and won't be eligible for free agency.

Let's just hope Pierce doesn't let it get to his head and start campaigning for the starting RB position via twitter and facebook!I think we are witnessing the beginning of the 2-headed monster that will dominate the running game for years to come. I must admit that I was skeptical of the Pierce pick since there were still quality receivers on the board. I really want to see how he responds to the playoffs when the opposition will key on Rice. We have the momentum going into this game. Rest a few key defensive players but don't take away from the offensive rhythm. We will need to face either the Bengals or the Colts in the first round.
But yes, I see these two causing some serious damage! It would be nice to have that two-headed monster again!
