Rice had a great game, but I think Pierce had an equally good game. That is not to take anything from Ray, but they were both great. No way we can keep ahold of Pierce next year.

Of course we can keep him...he'll be on his rookie contract for a couple more years and won't be eligible for free agency.

I think we are witnessing the beginning of the 2-headed monster that will dominate the running game for years to come. I must admit that I was skeptical of the Pierce pick since there were still quality receivers on the board. I really want to see how he responds to the playoffs when the opposition will key on Rice. We have the momentum going into this game. Rest a few key defensive players but don't take away from the offensive rhythm. We will need to face either the Bengals or the Colts in the first round.

Actually, I like both of our backup RBs.... Pierce and Rainey have both had a great mentor in Rice and I think the coaching staff has done well to preserve the running game this year. If Rice retires in 3 years, Rainey will most definitely be ready to step up and fill that gap.

Pierce will go nowhere. He is the eventual replacement for Ray Rice. After Rice's current contract he will be in league 8 years. Thats way long for RB's. At that time, Pierce will be the man.

Pierce should get some good burn this sunday. He wont let us down. I really like the way he continually bouces it to the outside for another 2 to 5 yards.

Allen is the odd man out as Pierce gets better. Unfortunately, we already have a fullback because with his build he might be a solid blocking back. Rice is young enough to be around for another 6 to 8 years. Having an alternative back will ensure that he stays healthy and effective for longer.

i wouldn't even play rice for more than a series or 2 if at all. activate damian allen and let he pierce and anthony carry the load this sunday. put tyrod in at the half. rest several of the defensive players as well as old man birk

Keep bringing home the awards Rice, but make sure you bring home the Lombardi also. Personal accolades may mean something to you, but to the fans they don't mean anything.
