Wow! Now we have 6 WRs and 3TEs and an aging super star LB active and Sergio Kindle still on the practice squad. Bynes is a young stud in the making,it's time to face the facts, Ray is not getting better he's getting older. We need his leadership and knowledge to get to the Super Bowl but his best days are behind him as a player who is feared. Time&tide wait for no man not even Ray Lewis. Good for Ray he made it back but our defense just slowed back down in time for Andrew Luck and Vic Ballard...........who??

I like the Lewis-Ellerbe combo better anyways... I think they complement each other well.... only thing now is the cornerback positions and to get pollard healthy... Looks like we are going to be healthy just at the right time...

1. Sergio Kindle won't be on the team next year. Everybody knows he's not getting it done.
2. When did Josh Bynes become a stud in the making? We've seen him play all of what... 2.5 games? He did not play well against Washington or Denver.

Sergio kindle is gone by next year.. dude just doesnt care for his career.. I work at the power plant down town baltimore and Sergio is a constant almost every weekend customer.. if the ravens are in town, he's partying away, getting pissed drunk... we have to get him cabs sometimes... that too me is just a gy who doesnt appreciate the several opp's he has gotten... what a waste... if only he'll put the same or more effort and time to perfecting he's trade maybe he'll amount to something...

dont get me wrung am not judging him or saying he shouldnt do what he wants but really thats just a slap in the face for a town and organization that spent a first round and all this training and belief in him....

better luck somewhere else next year kindle.. time to part ways with him.

My belief is Lewis will hang-em-up after this season whether we win or not. He realizes his injuries are a liability to the teams growth and development of younger talent. As much as it pains all of us to say Ray Lewis is that long in the tooth in football years that he will realize his place. I hope that something can be worked out to give him a place on the coaching staff or front office after he retires. His talent goes way beyond what he does on the field. The transition from active player to retired player must be a tremendous mental adjustment especially after all the years of service this dude has performed. When it happens we will all have to adjust.

Let's see how the checklist is going, make the playoffs...check, Win the division....check, go into the playoffs hot.....Almost a check......Go into the playoffs healthy.....check, Win the AFC.....coming, Win the superbowl.....Coming too. We are half way there Ravens Nation. And our Leader is there to pave the way!

Good game to test his health. If his arm's not there yet, it better turns out now, instead of the playoffs.

Oh, diehard fans don't need to see a palyer to judge his abilities... We all remember how many fans demanded Anthony Allen in the roster this off-season... They never saw him in real action, he's never shown anything in the NFL - save some pre-season action - still a lot of guys were sure he'd be the real thing...

This is perfect. We will have Ray back for the start of the post season.

I say we should sit most of our starters against the Bengals. Or at least on certain plays.

For Example, we should use Ray Rice only on some 3rd downs.

And we should sit Haloti and let him play some snaps at MLB. Thats right I said it.

I have reason to believe that Ray Lewis will be back next year. It's just his nature not to go out after completing half a season whether we win the Super Bowl or not, his appetite for football is Insatiable, am not sure about Ed Reed though but if he's healthy he should be around for another year also

Too bad we can't fast forward through the Cinci game and right up to the time Ray Lewis comes out of the tunnel for our home playoff game.

M&T is going to erupt !

Can't wait !!!!!

Eligible but not going to play.
Even when he does finaly come back, I hope the rotate him in rather than try to get him to be an every down back.Ellerbe does a good job and would compliment our D if we can use each in his own strengths when needed.
We want a healthy Ray, Ngata, Yanda and Suggs, going into the playoffs.

Just take a second and realize the situation. I am trying to wrap my mind around the emotional context of this game.Colts have there Cinderella story... shout out to "Chuck Pagano's" health etc... We have had a up and down season and have finally got back to playing ravens football and now our LEADER is back for a Superbowl push. I just cant comprehend the electrifying experience that stadium is going to generate. We as it is despise the colts already. That stadium is going to explode when Ray takes the field.I pitty the fool Ray Lewis makes an example of in that home game wild card round.

C'mon Ray Baby! I hope you've heard your critics, people like Merril Hoge, who say that your return will actually be detrimental to the Ravens because your level of play has dropped off beyond the level of your back-ups.

I have to think that he'll be able to tap into his emotional strength and perform well in what could be his last hurrah. I would love nothing more than for Ray to make one final defining moment for himself and for his Ravens and go out on top.

They will hear the noise from M&T all the way to...Pittsburgh, hehe

GO RAVENS!

Sure, Ray has lost a step physically -- but mentally he is unmatched. Even if he is only activated SHOULD we need him during the playoffs, I can accept this. I think our defense really gelled last week without him on the field, but we do need to "kick the tires" so to speak, see what Ray will be able to give us headed into the post-season.

Not sure if Williams deserved to be placed in IR. We are not told is he really was hurt badly, or simply if we needed room for Ray to come back. I am guessing the latter. I would have personally dropped someone that has under-performed, like Jimmy Smith at corner.

Anyway, I think all Ravens fans are ecstatic to have Sugar Ray back!

I hold no ill will against THESE Colts. They have worked hard to get where they are just as we have. Too bad we are going to ruin their SB hopes and dreams. Best of luck to Pagano in his fight against cancer. Go Ravens.

Ravens D is starting to play real good. Except for a blown early coverage in each of their last few games, they are solid. Ray Lewis will now be on the field to direct and guide this young group to the big show no matter what route we need to take. Been a long time since iv'e felt this confident. Don't screw it up Flacco!

I wouldn't think Ray will be taking snaps from Ellerbe. Danell is a starter and yes, he's been very solid. Actually, I think he's a key reason why we lost those games vs. PIT and WAS. We were getting killed in the middle of the field by TEs and slanting WRs.

Ray is basically McClain's replacement now, instead of BA or Bynes. I have to think that's an upgrade. I'm hoping to see Ray performance similar to his post season games last year, where I thought he was solid. And of course, his ability to command the team can't be forgotten.

Its good to have Ray Lewis back in the lineup but he could be better used as a coach...we'll just have to see how he does on the field. His presence should be a motivator for all the players on the field. It's time to shut the critics up about the ravens and kick some butt in the play-offs!
GO RAVENS!
