Dannell Ellerbe showed his blitzing potential in his first game back from an ankle injury.

Without Jameel, we absolutely need Ellerbe to bring his A-game, I'm glad he's stepped up. 4.5 sacks for an ILB who's only started something like 8 games? That's serious business.

The timing of Dannell Ellerbe's blitz, during the New York Giants opening drive on third down, was a thing of beauty! Too bad the play didn't count, since Terrell Suggs was penalized for being offsides, but it definitely showed how Ellerbe has been the unsung hero, so-to-speak, for the Baltimore Ravens.

Dannell Ellerbe has been missed these last couple of weeks, since getting hurt in the game against the Chargers. But, damn; talk about making an impact as soon as possible and setting the tone of the game, even if the play didn't show-up in the box score!

Good thing Ellerbe's back. Hopefully he'll get healthier by resting next week and allowing himself a little time to heal those thumbs of his. I like watching him play as he is the better linebacker other than McClain.

No such thing as another Ray Lewis. His career has been a confluence of forces that will likely never again be seen in the NFL.

Another one of those diamonds in the rough that our talented coaching staff acquired. Hopefully he's the first of many guys getting healthy at the right time of the year, playoffs.

Our D needs to draft pass rushing LB and Safety. These two should be our top position priorities in addition to as always hoping for that No.1 WR if we can ever find it..

I think as of now we are pretty good at MLBs with Mcclain, Ellerbe, Bynes, Ayanbandajeo. We are good at DBs with Webb, Carrie, Smth, Brown, Graham as well. Ofcourse on DT is the best in NFL!!

On Offensive side We need WR(as Boldin is counting his last 1-2 yr in NFL), Oline as we need someone at LG and LT

Thanks for the early Christmas present Ravens. Keep bringing those presents post New year's. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's to all. Let us always keep the less fortunate in mind, esp. the survivors in Newton Conn. whose Christmas's will never be the same again.

Baltimore's front office sure know how to scout for linebackers! Ellerbe has played his heart out in Lewis' steed, with 86 tackles in just 8 starts. The ILB position will be in good hands even after Ray Lewis passes the helm!

Jay Z will look at you like it's gravy

Hey man, in his defense it's a serious issue.  poe is a noble guardian looking out for us all.

Hope Ravens get a contract worked out with Flacco. They may need to franchise Ellerbe.

I think our top priorities in the draft need to be DT. We need somebody beside Ngata that can be a run stuffer. We don't need a pass rushing LB, Kruger is good, Suggs is one of the best when healthy, and Upshaw is really good against the run. Our front 7, especially the interior, has been pushed around all season. Most of the runs broke on us have been straight up the gut. Inside backers can't do anything when they are getting blocked by lineman 3 or 4 yards from the line of scrimmage. Cody isn't doing anything. We need a good DT that can eat up space but also shed blocks and make plays.

We need to resign Ellerbe, then our MLB core will be set. Secondary is okay.....if we get a pass rush then that helps a lottttt.

Offensively, i think we are actually okay skill position wise. We have a number one with Torrey Smith, and Anquan is still a numbe one. I think we need a slot guy, like Amendola, or drafting a tavon austin. Our biggest need, out of both sides of the ball, is an offensive lineman. Either a LT, or LG

With Ray Lewis career coming to an end more sooner then later, It's inevitable that we find some way to re sign Ellerbe he's one of our own & very deserving . . .

Go Ravens !!
