Watching the game from nfl.com.live NFL Thursday Night Football

Great picture, very smooth but no sound. I've double checked volume settings on the tool bar and the speakers & I do have sound with other apps. Anyone have any thoughts here?

Thanks.

Do you have the proper drivers loaded? Microsoft did some kind of update this week that messed up some settings on some PC's.

Thanks guys, I think I've determined that the Gestapo here (I am at work and they call themselves the I.T. Department) blocked part of the broadcast (pop-up menus, etc). I'll have to settle for video only. What I don't understand is why they would give me two flat screen monitors if they didn't want me to watch football while I worked. ?? ^_^

It's a beautiful thing. B)
Hmmm. Good idea. I actually put an old 2 gig HD in a HD enclosure. I should use it for that. You are the man!

For the record, when putting your Slingplayer on your USB device (flash drive, HD, whatever), you'll need to copy the entire directory.

The idea is, the executable file (.exe) will run directly from the USB device, but it needs all of the files in that directory to run; you could, in theory, just run the installation and direct it to save onto the USB instead, though.

Either way, if you have a good internet connection at home and work, it comes in handy and works extremely well. Basically, if a Ravens game is ever carried by my CBS affiliate, I can always opt to work that Sunday since I won't miss the game. :)

That's awesome. I'm in danger of missing the Monday and Thursday games, but I'll give this a try. Thanks a bunch!
