New Career Highs

[Purple_ICE 81]

Through 15 games Joe Flacco has totaled 3,783 Yards which is a new career high for Flacco and will surpass 4000yards with just 217 yards next week at Ciincy. He also has 25 total touchdowns, needing only 2 more to beat his prior 26 total touchdowns posted in 2010.

Anquan Boldin went over 900 yards receiving tonight which is a new career high while with the Ravens, and might just eclipse 1000yds for the first time since being with Arizona.

Torrey Smith beat his stats from last year(841yds 7td) now posting 855/8 with 1 game left to play.

Although its been a frustrating season for the most part, its nice to see players excell especially Flacco since he has been the highlight of practically every argument on these forums from week to week. And torrey smith looks great and I think Smith isnt even getting started yet and will contuinue to get better.

And of coarse you cant forget the fact that we are AFC champ repeats!!! hopefully we can three-peat next year.

Flacco had 25 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown in 2010=26TOTAL TDS. Flacco has 22 passing tds this season and 3 rushing tds this season= 25 total touchdowns. You cant forget about rushing stats they count too.

Well the biggest argument most people have with Flacco is that after 5 years he hasnt improved to that so called elite level. IMo Flacco is still a great QB, but yes after 5 years Flacco still has some things to work on like accuracy, pocket awareness, and some other things. I have always said we will never see the real Flacco come out with Cam Cameron as coordinator, through 5 years Cam babied Joe and held him back. Now that we have Jim Caldwell as coordinator he will give flacco more independence and Flacco will become 10x more comfortable and be able to fully run the offense.

Yea haha I just included them because they make it sound prettier. Anytime you here the announcers say "RGIII has 24 touchdowns, or Cam Newton has 35 touchdowns" your calling BS, but then they show that the stats are both rushing and throwing even though only 18 or 20 are passing TDs, you cant forget those rushing scores either

I dont think his hands are much of a problem as they were his rookie pre-season, alot of his drops were actually bad passes from Flacco over throws, under throws, throwing behind Torrey. I think he needs to get better at running routes, expanding his route tree. Watching Calvin Johnson break Jerry Rices record last night showed why he is the new king of the receivers--he can run any route and can dominate any coverage as a result. Im not in any way shape or form comparing Johnson to Torrey Smith, all im saying is that if Torrey can master the route tree he will take the next step toward being great. And with caldwell under coordinator, smith will be less of a 9-route race horse and more of a possession style deep threat getting you with short and long range catches.

Tonight wasnt Flacco's 15th game? Pretty sure it was. Why not include rushing scores? RGIII is going to get rookie of the year because he has 24 TOTAL TOUCHDOWNS even though 6 of them were on the ground. Sure you could say Flacco isnt a mobile QB but still i dont see why you wouldnt include all touchdowns. And hahaha start Tyrod he can run??? Sure, but thats all he would do. And I wouldnt be surprised if Harbaugh played next week out. I dont think he wants to just go in there and play a half. I think he will go in there and keep our offense clicking and ready to go for the playoffs. Sure we have nothing to lose but other teams are finishing out the season like the Packers their coach said they are playing out the season even though they are in the playoffs too. So dont assume thats what Harbaugh would do.

Haaaaaaaaaaaa I always imagine that same scenario. His first TD of his career last year in St Louis he actually bumped in to the bottom pole of the uprites because he was looking up haa thought I was the only one to think he always catches with the same kind of motion. Good point.
