Quick Question
Sambora or John Frusciante? I am trying to settle a debate of two of my friends. I was never impressed by John, but Richie occasionally blows my mind.
Wow two completely opposite players I don't know if you could say that one is "better" judging by their work. I think Sambora may be a little better of a classic lead player as far as solos are concerned, Fruciante's stuff can be pretty technical at times as well..a little more funky, but less solo heavy...so take your pick.

I think both of them are great

To say that Fruciante CHANGED gutiar is a bit of a stretch..lol I mean the guy HAS writen a ton of hit songs, but I don't think that he's an innovator of anything.. but definitely doesn't fit into a category with guys like Hendrix or Eddie Van Halen who TRULY were innovators with the guitar. Sounds like he's just a huge RHCP fan lol

Nirvana, he likes the Chili Peppers, and is in a cover band of one. But not a huge fan. Sambo did not change but is 20 time better live than John imho, and I love both bands

Anyone here going to Battle of the Bands at Soundstage in Baltimore on Sunday? My band is in it, and I play drums. Should be hella awesome.
Get two cases of beer for the sound guys.
One for front of house, one for monitors.

Someone help me with the Snow intro plz. Little Wing is also a bit tricky. I learned the riffs, how the hell do you play that fast so consistently? Frusciante in my eyes is overrated, too many pedals in use, but that riff is tricky as hell

My money is on that he uses a looper
