Well he won't be hitting the FA market this season, I really think this injury will make it hard to get him re-signed with another team (assuming that the Raiders cut him) when you consider the history of injury he's had in the past.

The guy's caught a lot of tough breaks throughout his career, not just on the field.

He held former Broncos teammate Darrent Williams in his arms as he died in that drive-by shooting just last year, and he was beaten, robbed, and left for dead in Vegas only a few months ago.

And that's on top of the injuries he's had to deal with, and the personal tragedies he's faced that weren't brought to light in the public.

I feel bad for him, but that's life. I hope he catches on with another team, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. And unfortunately, I don't see him being nearly as productive as he was in Green Bay and Denver.

I think this injury defenitly increases his chances of getting cut. In which, case I can't think of a blairing reason why the ravens shouldn't at least give him a look.......

Well he won't be cut until the end of the season and I can think of several reason for the Ravens not to pick him up . . . both of those banged up knees. I'd rather invest in a veteran WR who hasn't had such a history of injuries or in a young WR from the draft.

Agreed. Besides, knee injuries are extremely difficult to come back from, and receivers rely so much on the explosiveness they get from their knees, particularly when breaking from routes or trying to adjust their body lean as they confuse DBs...

Walker's might still be able to catch, but he won't be able to go deep as well as he used to...
