Wow you talk about everybody else's problems but Joe, so I'll help you.

QB- like him or love him Joe's an average qb with a learning disability. His fifth year and he still doesn't step up in to the pocket and he over throws like crazy . Truth of the matter is if we dont have the best O-line and best WRers he can't carry this team like other QBs in the NFL cause other good qbs make everybody else better around him Joe does not.

I Forgot he needs a top 10 D to step in and save the day from him going 3and out 5 times a game.
I didn't need to peg Joe because he's not going anywhere for the aforementioned reasons. So, as it says: whether you like him, love him or hate him... he's going to be here again next year.

Does he have his faults? Yes, he does. But a lot of his faults could be alleviated if you give him a solid O-Line.

And no, Joe doesn't need a top-10 defense to step in and save him -- our D is WAY off the top-10 mark this year and yet, we've managed 9 wins this season. It is the defense who let teams back into games with double-digit leads late in the game.

Maybe Joe should've been out there on the D-Line to stop a rookie with 11-snaps to his credit from converting a 2-point conversion.

NO ONE SAID JOE WAS ELITE, no one but himself lol......
webb sad we would have the best group of cornerbacks this year as well, how'd that workout?

Great point!

Though, you could say in this case also that scheme made them look worse than they are.

I don't think we can give up on Harewood either. The big fella show some potential at LG and I think you give him the chance to compete. As for Gino, i think you allow Justin Boren to compete with him there. Other then Yanda, no oline position should be locked up.
Justin Boren isn't even on the team. He's a Detroit Lion...

Doubtful since Cornell is a G/T, not a Center lol.

Oh wow, i missed that. Thanks. I thought Boren was still on the PS, I liked Justin.

I was impressed with Jack too. Don't think the Ravens would flirt with getting him to learn the Center position, but i'd like to see him get a chance to compete at G/T and maybe be that swing guyy.

The front office is addressing our needs, they need better scouts or better position coaches. We've drafted a lot of DL and OL in last couple drafts, just not panning out

Harbs has played against a division that is rebuilding. Cleveland and Cincy are getting there ,and Pittsburgh is falling off. Please. He has not been all that impressive if you add in all the miscues. You will agree with me later. Thank god i can always bring this back up. So neg all you like, and ill bring it back up for you later.

So i was listening to 105.7 and they thought that if we go one and done a house cleaning would more then likely happen. I am not sure if that would be called for as we have been losing key player after key player this season and if that had not occurred we would be fine right now. What are your thoughts ?
I don't even understand how you can have a "house cleaning" when the majority of the roster is pretty young.

I mean.... Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Anquan Boldin, Matt Birk... they might all leave on their own anyway.

If you consider starting over at quarterback "cleaning house," then yes... I think they should, and I think it's very possible they will.

As for the coaching... Cameron is already gone. I'm not sure who else will be available for head coaching spots or defensive coordinators. You obviously can't bring back Rex Ryan as long as the guy they chose over him is still here. But if Harbaugh is fired... I'm perfectly fine with bringing back Rex as either DC or HC. I think the lockeroom is getting as stale an atmosphere as it had the last year Billick was here. The defense is starting to turn on the offense, and you can feel it. The defense played damn hard against the Broncos in the first half. Then they just kind of quit after that Flacco interception pick 6.

The defense has had their share of the blame in games this year too, sure. But it's still the same old Ravens it seems like.

But really, I don't think you'll see a "cleaning of the house" because the roster is already pretty young. And there is quite a bit of talent on it. Just need to fill in the few gaps that happen to be the most important peices.

I also hope our supposedly elite Running back shows up next year. Ray has really been hard to watch this season; Pierce is creeping up on him way more than Tyrod is on Flacco.

Most likely, it is just the stereotypical overreaction by "the media". Still, though, as explained in the two threads dealing with next year's salary cap, there WILL be changes, of some kind, to this roster, for next season; that's a fact.

Most likely, Ray Lewis retires (or, less likely, restructures and comes back for another year) and Ed Reed either retires or walks (as his asking price will be way too high for someone his age). Then, for the offensive line, which needs a reboot, Matt Birk either retires, as well, or plays out his contract knowing that he might have to compete for the starting center position with Gino Gradkowski (or someone else); also, Bryant McKinnie doesn't comeback as a free agent and Bobbie Williams is cut. Thus, depth for the offensive line will be key in the off-season and every spot, on the line, is essentially up for grabs. Heck, some envision Michael Oher being trade bait, with one year left on his contract.

Elsewhere, Anquan Boldin will be cut to save cap space. Boldin could be brought back, but some other team, like what happened to Derrick Mason and Todd Heap, will scoop him up. As a result, it will be Tandon Doss' time to shine as the slot/possession receiver. Vonta Leach is someone else who will likely be cut (to save money); however, since the fullback position is a dying breed, Leach could easily return to the Baltimore Ravens at a lower price, seeing how crucial he has been paving lines for Ray Rice and catching the football out of the backfield.

Other than that, there some key, young free agents that NEED to be brought back, like Dennis Pitta, Paul Kruger and Arthur Jones. But, for those who know the Ravens, this is business as usual. I still remember when "the experts" thought the 2011 Baltimore Ravens were "doomed", simply because Ozzie Newsome let Mason, Heap, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Willis McGahee and Jared Gaither go on the offense, as well as players like Josh Wilson and Dawan Landry on the defense. And we all remember how that turned out, right?

Plus, don't forget, Jim Caldwell (and if a new quarterbacks coach is brought-in) will have an entire off-season to work with Joe Flacco and the offense; as well, Dean Pees, if a position coach isn't promoted, will have time to readjust his philosophy. Oh, and, next year, the Ravens will have a healthy Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs, Bernard Pollard and even a returning Lardarius Webb for next season, all of who will become the new faces of Baltimore's defense. Hey, at least no one will be calling the Ravens "old", any more...
All the names in bold scare me.

I don't want Pees back, to be honest. I think we've seen enough of his philosophy and I don't believe it is all because of the injuries we've taken on that side of the ball. I'm not sure Caldwell is the OC for the future. I have all idea they set themselves up with Cam's firing to have a good choice for OC next season. I don't see Ed Reed coming back either and I hope he retires because it will kill me to see him in another uniform. No matter if he plays well or not.

I understand about Leach but I really would like to keep him around for another year. I hate to say it, but I'm not sure Rice will do nearly as well without him.

I guess if you take a look at all the decisions coming this off season, it does seem like a house cleaning of a sort.

Between all the information here and the Media i learn so much and would like to think that every fan does this or am i to obsessed ?
I'm the same way. I spend a lot of time looking at the news on this website, on other websites, learning more about our players, studying draft prospects in hopes that I can figure out who the Ravens will draft (hey I guessed Courtney Upshaw), buying Ravens stuff, using the Ravens in connected careers in Madden 13, tweeting Ravens and being overly excited when they tweet back and I'm always trying to find Ravens events to go to. I feel like I'm this crazy obsessed superfan. I also went out and got a tattoo in the beginning of the year right after the Ravens were eliminated from the playoffs to prove I'm not a bandwagon fan.

IDK what they mean by a house-cleaning, but I definitely think we need to bring in a new QB coach (I'd prefer a west-coast guy that will get Joe moving around in the pocket a bit more). Defensively I think the coaching staff has done a decent job, especially given the injuries we have. But there definitely needs to be a lot of new blood brought in on that side of the ball - we need an impact pass rusher, we need a good free safety, and we need another cornerback, at the least - plus it wouldn't hurt to draft an ILB relatively early.
