After realizing I had another day on earth and the Mayans didn't have it all figured out, I went to work. Things seemed different, but I couldn' t quite put my finger on it.
Then it hit me after travelling around town. Where is all the PURPLE??
Maybe its just me, but this Friday has not appeared to be a Purple Friday. In fact, it looks more like an off season Friday. I guess the people have spoken nothing.

Something has been a bit off today.

The day isn't over.
This is football, not teacups with the Queen.

I have felt it to, i go in various buildings inspecting and not much purple at all. Then i noticed me myself as i usually am eager for sunday and there is no eagerness at all. Like it is almost a formality to the season which is we are not play off material and if we even eek out one win of these last 2 is a enormous feat which is very rare. Maybe the all black uniforms this weekend is fitting as a sign of a end to winning this season.

I think a lot of us are not expecting much this game.
I really hope I'm wrong.

As much as some fans have said they've giving up hope, reality is they haven't. I'm betting i won't see one brown paper bag in the crowd Sunday. I'm betting the 1st offensive TD will be met with the same type of roar Tucker got for his game winner.
Fans just aren't happy and if voices like Reed, Flacco and Pollard speak for the entire team, those guys aren't happy either.

I just have felt with all that has been going on for the last week...Purple Friday was like meh.
I have also felt less and less enthused as a fan after each loss since Pitts.
One just gets burnt out after week in and week out of cheering, screaming, going crazy at the games and watching the team fall apart. Its been a rough 3 weeks...
But I do agree with an earlier post. Just win...and the juices will get flowing again!
