Besides carries there is nothing wrong with Ray Rice
how does he have an over 5 average in wins and losses yet only average just over 4 in total. Something is wrong there unless I've mis read that mess

RIP to the Ravens' vaunted defense... They're going to have a lot of shoes to fill once their veterans retire in the next couple seasons. Someone will have to pick up Lewis' mantle and assume some major leadership responsibilities.
It was a slow decline that i feel was ignored in the effort to build an ELITE offense that has not lived up to expectations due to playcalling and a poor O Line.

I agree that a balanced offense is important, but in today's game if I had to pick I would pick passing as more important.

I agree to an extent because there are a lot of situations when the pass is much more effective than the run. If you fall behind, you better have a good pass game to get yourself back in it. As far as overall game play though, it's important to be able to do both. That's just my opinion. I've seen teams dominate with a lopsided approach as far as run vs pass, so i know it can be done. No real argument here, just working off of what you said.

Interesting... Rice has a higher average in losses than in wins... In fact his average yard per carry in wins is a mediocre 4.1.

To me, Raven football is killer defense.
Our secondary is weak, where is the blitz and other teams seem to run right through us.
Let's get it together with some big, crazy good defensive players - at any position.
Of course, we do miss Ray, big time - he has the experience to read the QBs.

As for the offense, the first game of the season was great - what happened after that?
Now that Cam is done, let's mix it up and make things happen.
That means Joe and the O line NEED to step it up.

Winning is back to Raven football - not losing in the last 2 minutes of every game.
Watch out for Eli - he is great at the 2 minute drill.

I'm sure thats because he has less carries in losses than in wins. I'm sure I have read many times around here about people complaining that Rice was carving up a Defense but had stopped being given the ball

Yes, and well said. Look at our latest defensive draft choices: Kindle, Cody, Kruger, J. Smith, and McPhee. Inconsistency, unproductivity, and possible busts. Keep drafting well Ozzie.SMH We'll give Upshaw time to develop, but J. Smith could be a bust by this time next year.
