I got a new betta fish today; named him Shepard. I'm going to go feed him left over painkillers in the medicine cabinet.

I was joking. In my younger years, I used to feed my goldfish crushed up prescription medicines. The wife just so happens to be on painkillers at the moment from the car accident.

Granted, it's not a real spectacle to behold, but betta fights are pretty violent ... for fish. Maybe Vick could take up beta fighting as a new hobby?

Beta are actually called fighting fish because they will fight to the death if you put two males in a tank.

I'd like to get a plaice fish, just so I could watch it camouflage itself.

What's a plaice? I used to own an angler fish it was pretty neat. Im looking at getting a Humu Humu Trigger at the moment or a medium sized Angel. I'm also considering mixing things up and going the Eel route with a new tank.
