It is believed that if this asteroid does hit ground, it will knock about an 1800-mile radius. To put that into perspective -- half of the continental US. If it impacts the ocean, then we could see upticks in earthquakes and tsunamis.

The projected date of impact keeps changing though. At first it wasn't supposed to impact us at all. Then they said it would and the original day of impact was the 26th of February, but has now been moved up to the 15th. Apparently, it's gaining on us.[/i][/font]

wow, I hate when that happens. It's worse when it rains, people slow down so much, it's like have you ever driven in rain before?

I'm kinda disappointed, I was looking forward to the Afterlife but I guess there is always Feb 2013. At least we get to see who wins Super Bowl 47 before the world ends.

I moved here end of February THIS year...and came out here for two weeks in January. Mild winter last year.

I don't miond driving in snow. Driving in ice is what frightens me.
