Your take on Harbaugh's message of hope?

I think Harbs is an honorable man and a coach that players respect. I personally don't want some fire and brimstone coach always yelling at players or airing out the team business to the media. I am confident that he is passionately coaching this team and they understand the urgency. He certainly is plenty vocal on the sidelines with the refs. He is not perfect....but aren't you glad you don't have a bunch of idiots at your work telling you how to do your job and how bad you are at it?? I find many folks on this board on the edge of ridiculous sometimes. This team is in the playoffs for the fifth straight time! We were a Lee Evans drop away from the SB last year! Do you think 3/4 of the fans around this country would like to trade teams....because I know they would! RAVENS NATION!!!

this. I've always had nothing but respect (and sometimes a little frustration, but mostly respect) for Harbs.

I think he might be delusional. I know it is all coach speak but don't play us like we are stupid.

I think calling Harbaugh delusional is a little far fetched. Coach speak is what it is, that's why I rarely even watch those things. They aren't going to spill any info that you don't already know or could guess with sheer common sense.

Truth is this is NOT a good football team. The offense has not improved at all. The defense has regressed to one of the poorest in the league. Even though we are still decent in the red zone we can not finish games. Even when we were healthy we were not a dominant defense. Teams exploit the middle of the field and our linebackers. We have not shut down any running game

The Defense has not been healthy since Suggs got hurt last spring. Also two big pieces of our run defense left town after last year. Cory Redding and JJ. I stressed that we had to find a way to keep one if not both of them if we didn't want our defense to regress. Too many injuries, too many first time starters. On Offense, I'll agree with you. We didn't address the writing that was on the wall..We needed answers on the Oline, not more questions. I was actually astonished that we didn't address really anything outside of signing Williams, and drafting Osemele. Our starting LT is barely passable and should ONLY be at RT where he is decent. Our Center is 60 years old and gets bullied by large 3-4 DT's. Our starting RG/ RT is a rookie, Yanda is a beast but is hurt.. then there's Jah Reid who is a project player pressed into service out of desparation and Bobbie Williams who was merely the best FA option out there. You can't run the Ravens style of offense without being able to MOVE the ball, and then give the QB enough time to find deep targets after that. Speaking of Flacco, he just needs to play better. Period. Then there's the WR's. They just still struggle to get open even though we have two speedsters now, David Reed made a nice catch last week..maybe he gets another chance or two moving forward. Nice to see Doss getting more and more time, he could be next in line to be the Raven's go to possession receiver.

We managed to win some close games and kudos for them getting it done but the problems we have been complaining about are still there. The record just gave the team something to hide behind.

Well, they can no longer do that. This is week 16. There is no more time to "improve", "get better every week", "have better communication".

It is all the same crap we have been pointing out all season. TIme to own it Ravens. We all heard Ed Reed after the game. He owned it. Time for the coach to own it!

I just don't see where Harbaugh isn't owning the losing streak and current problems. All he's saying is that you can either feel bad for yourself and keep apologizing for what has already happened, or you can shake it off..and put everything you've got into figuring this thing out and winning the last two games we have.

The other team is always great and they had a fantastic game.

I'm ready to buy a jersey and tickets for one of these fantastic teams for awhile until this nonsense gets straightened out around here.

Good. Go bless their boards.
