Irrelevant Draft Thread #4 Doomsday Week

Offseason.......
I see Ray Restrucuring for a cap friendly deal....
I see us letting Q go. But using more 3 WR sets
Brandon Albert LT KC
We need to move Oher back to the right... He belongs there, and osemele is meant to be a guard.
Marcus McNiel FA LT.
IDN want another injury problem. Oher needs to stay on the right for more than one year for once in his life.
Danny Amendola WR Rams
Quintessential Slot WR. With Q gone, in an attempt to get younger, this guy is a good route runner, with sure hands, and puts up numbers with the Rams. With a QB like Flacco he could be another Welker.
Now for the mock
Round One
Keenan Allen WR Cal
I understand that the pass rush is the most pressing need, and that the D-Line needs to get better, but this is the perfect draft for this. Jesse Williams can be picked up in the second round. Keenan, talent wise, is the best WR in this class. IDT there needs to be a question asked here. But he will fall due to injuries, and has potential to be an elite WR. Great Size, and Speed for the position, and a stud otherwise. Caldwell will love a weapon like him........
TRADE. With NE.... Next year's first for there first this year.
They owe us right? Stole Hightower from us last year, we return the favor....
Alex Ogeltree
IF anyone disagrees with this trade, NE doesnt use too many first rounders..... They owe us, and Ogeltree is exactly what Hightower was last year. A physical stud that can play at any LB position. Pees, is a great LB coach, and with Ray coming back for one more year, Ray can mentor him.....
In the meantime, we can do what the Pats are doing with Hightower and use him as an OLB for a year. He has the ultimate teacher.
Round Two:
Jesse Williams
A stud NT from Alabama, sound familiar? Well, it should be. With Alec playing OLB for a year, and him having pass rush ability, we can get a stud pass rusher in the draft next year...... I wanted to take Chase Thomas here, but I like Courtney... Good player, can get betterm but Jesse is a great prospect. He will literally just eat up the middle. It will allow Ngata to stay where he is.... Baby steps tword a dominate D ppl, baby steps. This is a huge factor.
Round Three:
William Gholston DE/OLB Michegan State
Well.... We have a third round pick, we have an MLB of the future, we have a rookie thats gonna be starting at NT, now we got a servicable slot WR and an improved (for the better) O-Line. So, if Oz doesnt like Ogeltree starting at MLB then here is a potential stud all pro thing right here. 6'7. Freakishly tall OLB. He has the potential to be the best, I repeat, the best, in the NFL. He is an absoulute freak.... The problem is that he has bad family ties, and is a raw player. Well, Brooks and Pees are some of the best in the NFL at coaching OLB's and DLmen. The man can do whatever he wants.
Comp:
We are gonna lose a ton of free agents this offseason. The sigings above are just the major ones. So here I will take a need, but not a large need.
Tyranne Matheui
Ok I lied, In this scenario we move him to FS. I expect us to lose Reed to retirment, and this guy would be going in the first if he wasnt a total headcase.
Round Four:
Kahled Holmes Center USC.
Moller needs to go, but we need a center. Gino could be a better guard, and Holmes is a pure center. I am only picking him bc I do not know about Gino....
Comp
Josh Boyd.
Depth
Round 5.
Jeff Baca
Good, solid Guard Prospect out of UCLA. Depth nothing more
Comp:
Marquess Wilson
One can never have too many WR
Round 6
Lattimore
Three Headed rushing attack here
Round 7
Quanterus Smith
Potential situational pass rusher
Thats the first comment away, but no poll yet

'I don't think Allen is the best reciever in the draft that will be available at that point. I would rather have brown, mosley, or minter than Ogletree. I feel Williams is very risky and would rather take a safer D-line prospect.
Well, who is better? Ogeltree is the better athlete, and I can see the Williams thing. But the difference between him and cody is that he is not the most lazy man alive.

I think brown is more athletic than Ogletree the only difference being that Ogletree is slightly taller. I think Patterson, Patton, Rogers, possibly Hopkins and William all have higher ceilings than Allen as well as lower bottoms. I also think Aaron mellette will be a stud even though he's comin from Elon. But I honestly think Brandon Coleman will be the best WR if he comes out. Williams is still raw and I would rather have floyd, Cassius marsh, or Will sutton.'

I live only a half hour form Berkley, and love Allen as a prospect. I just personally believe he will be very Boldin esque in terms of production and would rather get someone with superstar potential also what are your thoughts on Cassius marsh since you live near UCLAI live only a half hour form Berkley, and love Allen as a prospect. HUGE UCLA FAN. Marsh is one hell of a FB player. But if I want a UCLA pass rusher..... Anthony Barr. The guy has stud written all over him. Marsh is good, but Jones, Barr, and Owa are better than him. The young guns Castro, Zumwalt, Kendricks, and the guy who is gonna be a top 5 pick if he pans out, Ellis McCarthy, are also great prospects in the future.I just personally believe he will be very Boldin esque in terms of production and would rather get someone with superstar potential also what are your thoughts on Cassius marsh since you live near UCLA

I meant he'd put up similar numbers in terms of catches, yards, touchdowns and whatnot and that he'd be very consistent with the ability to take over an occasional game as well as provide decent blocking. Obviously he's more athletically and physically gifted than Boldin.More athletic than Q, and taller. No need for speed with Torrey and Amendola.

I don't know though, I think a tackle definitely has to be picked in the draft.
I'd be lying if I told you I wouldn't be drooling over what a draft class of Allen, Ogletree, Gholston, Mathieu, and Wilson could become in a couple years with the right coaching though.

Also I don't see all the hype Ogeltree gets, when I watch film he's too light, he gets blocked easily, his initial contact isn't even very good, he just catches a lot of tackles by getting off blocks once he's pushed 4 yards down field.

The Saints gave the Patriots their current 2nd round pick and a future 1st. I've never seen, or will likely ever see, a future first traded straight up for a current first.

Can we get over the Ray lewis "will mentor him" I've been hearing that crap for years about lewis or reed mentoring these people and the Ravens have [profanity deleted] to show for it. Neither one appears to be doing a good job of mentoring, plus neither is deserving of a starting spot now , let alone next year. Its like the argument that peyton manning will mentor people, its a joke.
I think Brett Favre is the best example of why this is a nonsense theory, through a brief spat of honesty. He didn't want to help train his replacement who was going to steal his job.
