If you had input with Ozzie what would your recommendations be for next years team?

I agree with this sentiment.

I won't be player-specific, but:

1) Rebuild the offensive and defensive line; you can only truly isolate your areas of need once you've got the trenches shored up.
2) Target veteran depth in the secondary; there's enough young guys on the roster but not enough experience in substitutions.
3) Hire a new WR coach; the receiving corps has shown flashes of brilliance but is inconsistent with the fundamentals.
4) Sign a veteran backup QB; the assumption is that Flacco will either stay with an average contract or will earn himself big money in the postseason. Regardless, he needs a clipboard-savvy veteran to guide him, similar to Todd Bouman earlier in his career. Competition is also healthy.
5) Scout interior linebackers but don't force it; if there's no one worthy of starting immediately, don't force the issue. However, it's smart to keep an eye on the position sooner than later.

Pretty hilarious....you want to get rid of Flacco, then you go on to acknowledge that our LT and C sucks and our offensive scheme lacks balance and needs to change.

You Flacco bashers never fail to amuse me...I guess it is Flacco's fault that the OL and the system sucks, so get rid of him!!

So u are saying resign Flacco and forget about the rest... there is no middle ground at this point. Pay the qb wants he wants so he doesn't leave(leaves us in the same current position) or put Flaccos money towards other stuff... I prefer other stuff... because that shipped has sailed and he lost his chance last year

I don't think we will cut our #1 pick. Let him heal and continue to develop.
