I've lost confidence in Joe's deep overthrows... don't think I saw any on Sunday. Gonna miss those...
lol you can say that again. He actually hit receivers in stride.

I think the writers are reading our threads on Flacco. The reason we brought up the Tyrod thread was to talk about Joe's inability or unwillingness to move the pocket with his feet and now they are talking about his mobility?

Like it or not some of us are making noise around here. :P

I'm pretty sure it was more about you guys wanting Tyrod to start, but ok! "Noise"!

LOL

Yeah because you know, it wouldn't or couldn't be something that Caldwell has been working on with Joe. Or that Caldwell saw an issue that he was better able to address once he took over from Cam and could design plays to help with that or anything.

Okay. It's all about the "noise!".

Actually watching Joe throw deep to Boldin... after the first couple of times, I stopped holding my breath. *LOL* It's just a involuntary reaction to Joe throwing deep, until you see the receiver catch it or the ball hit the ground... you just can't breathe.

In his last 3 years in the postseason he's thrown, 12 TDs, and only 2 picks, 1485 yards (did that quickly in my head so it may not be right) - only thing keeping it from being perfect is his completion percentage isn't great, but with all of the dropsies in many of the games maybe that's to be expected. He's pretty much come up big in just about every game we needed him the most.

5 touchdowns and no interceptions thus far in the postseason, and I think he had 4 touchdowns to 1 interception during last year's postseason.
9 TD's to 1 INT in his last four postseason games. I think the answer to the topic question is a resounding no.

He also throws more bombs than most other QBs, so that hurts his completion %.

Lol at this thread.
If Flacco wins next game, and wins the SB, he will go down as one of the greatest young QBs ever!
Bmore in Bmore, where are you?

True - it's a strength of his, but I hope Caldwell gets away from it next year. IDK who you are, deep throws are not high percentage, and in today's game I think high percentage passing and keeping TOP is the way to succeed. Not that we should abandon the deep passing game, just not put so much of an emphasis on it.

I don't even think he should be credited with the fumble. Birk slapped his butt with the ball (not the first time he has done that).

Anyways. Joe has been ballin' in the playoffs recently. Anybody thinks he can't play with the big boys when the game actually matters is dead wrong. He out played Manning today.

Mr. Clutch does it again. Only people I have lost faith in are the people who voted yes in this thread.

Joe was a little iffy towards the beginning, but he's really established himself as insanely clutch. That drive at the end of the second? Beautiful.

He also throws more deep passes than anyone. Did manning even throw anything over 20 yards? Not counting YAC.

Denver fans can say the cold didn't have an affect. But Manning looked like McNair (at the end). Where he couldn't throw the ball past 15 yards. The cold played its part.

Joe, no glove, no love. Threw the ball with authority like he's been there before.
