I Want Tyrod Taylor!

Seriously. Not to mention that it was already held together with pins and rubber bands from a previous surgery. There is a very real possibility this kid could not only never play football again, but might not ever walk without a cane again. That is serious stuff. It needs to be looked into by the NFL. What doctors cleared this kid to take the field? Did they really do a work up on that knee?

On topic. Maybe we'll get enough of a lead versus Denver that Tyrod gets some playoff playing time.

Never! Peyton came back from a 2nd-half 22-pt deficit from a decent defense in the Chargers. You can't take Manning's skill for granted.
Wow are the writers reading these threads? It seems like they are bringing up the same things that we are talking about in the threads. Lmao I guess we are making noise now.
i've always felt that! we discuss something here or start threads on a topic and then...BAM! mink and the crew has an article about it. we are helping them past their "writers-block."

Looked over the 1st page... never seen so many negs! Anyway, I hope this debate ends soon. rbates, Panda, Mili etc. have discussed the merits of "Scrambling" QBs top to bottom. There's really nothing else to say.

I feel badly for RGIII. You're talking about him not stepping on a football field. The possible reality could be worse than that. He should have been pulled from the game so early on. Shanahan should be suspended indefinitely from the supposed "all about player safety NFL" for leaving an obviously injured player in the game. Of course RGIII isn't going to take himself out of the game. It is the coach's job to save players from themselves sometimes.

I put that same thing in an email to Roger's office; if they are so concerned with player safety, why are players that are injured allowed to return to the field? When the Redskins faced us and he could barely walk off the field the second time, I figured he was done for the rest of the season.

Now, this... he'll be lucky if he ever sees a football field again. It's just sad.

Not to take this thread too off-topic, but i feel bad for him as well. He's been hurt ever since Ngata hit him. You could see that from that one TD he ran against Dallas. And then he hurt it more when he got hit early on.

IMO when he got hurt against us, he shouldn't have played the rest of the season, cause how bad he looked when he came back in. It's a knee, that affects a players long-term health and playing ability. I know its like "win or go home" or whatever, but honestly, did Shanahan think they could go all the way with RGIII's knee the way it was?
I wouldn't be so quick to hang Shanahan in this instance. Remember who he works for and the way he "controls" every facet of his operations.

A friend of mine who worked for Snyder years ago and said he was the worst micro manager and boss ever. I wouldn't doubt if MS was under direct orders to ride Bob to the end. IMO danny boy is the one who should be held culpable for possibly ruining Bob's career.
Lmao..... I'm telling you that it has happened on more than one occasion. Now if they can hear me and drop Bobbie Williams from the active roster,i will be super excited.

Why are people saying that we wanted Tyrod to start? I don't recall that at all.

RBates...i've NEVER said that i wanted Tyrod to start over Flacco in this thread. my point and position is very clear! nor have i been involved in that ridiculous "scrambling" or "mobile" QB rambling argument that went on page after page after page. my name was brought up (ignorantly i might add) by another poster who had mentioned that "I" had argued that point...when i did not! smh!

RGIII will be fine. Next year he'll be slinging it and running around like normal. His injury isn't nearly as bad as the media is making it out to be. I've seen worse athletes come back from really bad injuries..he's a young man not even in the prime of his life yet. We'll be back to cursing him next year :D

TT may be the man on the " high ground " , light oxygen and some " razzle dazzle " .

Really , I respect the man and if Joe isn't getting it done in the first , bring him in for the second half. We just NEED to win.

why always assume that Joe will play poorly? i believe that Joe will play well on the road this game. he has no choice but to do so! but on the flipside of this....peyton "could" play poorly in this game cause he has tremendous pressure on his shoulders to keep proving to Indy (whom we just bounced out of the tournament) that they made a mistake. believe it or not...i expect a few mental errors and miscues between peyton and his receivers in this game. it could happen!

Regardless, I am concerned enough about how difficult this game is going to be. No sense adding to the stress by putting Tyrod in.

No, really. We should just allow this thread to go quietly into the night. By tomorrow it would be off the first page. By the next day, off the second page and then fall into obscurity. Please. Let. It. Die.
