I highly doubt anyone believes that, outside of the few fans that you have on this thread.

Pocket QB: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning,

Scrambling QB: Cam Newton, Michael Vick,

There, see... I filled the first four out for you.

And BTW, I'm already making you look silly... and we haven't even compiled the list yet.

From the little stat they put up during the GB game about Rodgers averaging 200 yards a season. Because if Rodgers doesn't count as a running QB, the entire argument for success becomes invalid.

So 220 yards becomes the measuring stick for a "running" QB now. Though...yeah...I don't think so.
Why does it become invalid without Rodgers? Young was better than Rodgers. There are Qb's today that might be better than him, when it is all said and done.

What if the guy is doing both , which is what I saw. And he had no pocket to work in for sure.

Pretty Average amongst the good scramblers this year.
So, Luck is an above average scrambling QB? I mean, he's over 220. I find that hard to believe. He's plenty mobile but a pocket passer. He's not a scrambler.
LOL if you say so who picks Vick in a starting QB argument.

Pocket passer: Blaine Gabbert, Matt Cassell
Please fill free to enter the two worst scrambling QB's ........LOL They will be much better than these two guys.

The one on the sidelines to Boldin was the one i was referring to, but that throw at the beginning of the third on the run for 50 yards off the back foot was beautiful too.

The first pass was perfect because he dropped it over Boldin's shoulder right in his hands with the defender and the sideline squeezing the area available for a catchable ball.

The second pass off the back foot was also incredible. He launched that ball about 50 yards on the run, to give Boldin a chance to catch the ball. Money shot. Very Impressive!!!!! Go back and watch that 3rd quarter. Joe was Ballin!!!!
Gotcha. Thanks!

I was first row, endzone by the tunnels. So, the O was going away from me the 1st and 3rd quarters. Watching the throws and lanes open up from literally dead center of the stadium, benhind the field goal post in the endzone was insane. The throws to the sidelines to Q were insanely on point!
He scrambled on us at least twice to make big plays with a horrible line. He is a scrambler.

I think 143 games is more indicative, since that's the games started . Either way...

Having gone back and looked at the years/games where he was a backup. I would agree. Worst case, split the difference and say 27.5 yeards a game. Still way more than 15.

two bad scramblers? how about modern-day Vick and not-in-college Newton?
They obviously don't fit that mold of a scrambling QB.
